References
Hello, Riverfan. I was just patrolling the newly added articles, and ran across your 1997 Gemini Awards. Good job, and thank you. I did notice, though, that it had no references. This would normally have earned it a "needs refs" tag from me, but I thought I'd check first, and see what other articles in what I guessed must be a series, had used for references. I was a little startled to find none in the couple I looked at. On to the parent article, Gemini Award. Fine. It has a couple of reasonable and proper external links. That is adequate for the job.
I'm writing you because you seem to be working a good deal on the topic. Perhaps you'd be willing to add those same external links (if appropriate) to the other individual articles. That would, I think, be a useful addition.
Thanks for your efforts. Tim Ross (talk) 20:43, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
Gemini Awards
Hi, when you're writing up articles on each year's Gemini Awards, could you link to CBC News: The National, rather than just "The National", when listing the CBC news show? The plain title "The National" is a disambiguation page, not the TV show. You can type [[CBC News: The National|The National]] for years when "CBC News" wasn't actually part of the show's title yet, but just linking directly to "The National" is taking the user to the wrong place. Thanks. Bearcat (talk) 17:00, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
dates
Hi, I noticed that you linked a date or two when you created 14th Primetime Emmy Awards. This practice is now deprecated. Please see WP:LINKING and WP:MOSNUM. I'm happy to respond to any inquiries you may have about the matter. Ohconfucius (talk) 07:50, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of 2009–2010 Canadian network television schedule
The article 2009–2010 Canadian network television schedule has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Wikipedia is not TV guide.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. RayTalk 06:10, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
Dates
Thanks for your contributions to Emmy Award articles, but I'd like to remoind you not to put a comma between the month and year in a date. It should be May 1963, not May, 1963. See WP:MOSNUM. Thanks, Reywas92Talk 20:33, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
