Summary

Description
English: World War II & Resistance memorial on Bos en Lommerweg near Egidiusstraat, with a statue of a seated woman. Created by Gerda Rueter (1904-1993) in 1957.

One side of the pedestal features lyrics from Jan Campert's poem "Het Lied der Achttien Dooden" (The Song of the Eighteen Dead), and the other side features lyrics from the sixth stanza of Wilhelmus, the Dutch national anthem.
