English: View north over Golden, Jefferson County, Colorado, shows South High School high on a hill on the west side of Cheyenne Street, between 3rd (Third) and 4th (Fourth) Streets (now 13th and 14th). The two-story brick schoolhouse was the first graded school in the county. Features include quoins, bell tower, and window hood molds with keystones. Scattered wood frame and brick buildings show downhill.
