You will need to defend why exactly you have AFCH script access after submitting and accepting a draft with zero sources. See [[Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Articles_for_creation#Accepting_a_Draft_with_Zero_sources?]] Also Kindly be more careful where you put the "Promising Draft" template as I've found quite a high error rate in your applications of it. (talk page stalker) I'm not too familiar with Afc, but "insufficient content"? That's an absurd result concerning this article, which has way more content than thousands of articles on Wikipedia, and I'd say is even beyond a stub in its current state. The correct reason, if there is one for this draft, is the one made by commenter Kees08, namely, that it appears to be a duplicate of Ruth Virginia Bayton, in which case the result should be merge, not "insufficient content". Mathglot (talk) 18:54, 9 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Mathglot, unfortunately the AFC script has a limited number of "pre-programmed" decline reasons, and the "this needs to be merged" decline has the text you see above. It does, however, state that the content should be merged into the target article, which is why it was used. Primefac (talk) 19:26, 9 May 2018 (UTC) (please ping on reply)[reply]
Ah, okay. Some templates are better than others at not ruffling feathers, and this one vicariously ruffled mine on CalliopeJen's behalf. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Mathglot (talk) 19:34, 9 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Shift dress listed at Redirects for discussion

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Shift dress. Since you had some involvement with the Shift dress redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Steel1943 (talk) 15:00, 21 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Wesley John Gaines, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Georgia (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Confusion

Can you help me with something? Trying to understand why you applied the {{promising draft}} template to User:Theatre_in_Paris/sandbox/Theatre_in_Paris.

  1. The user is indefinitely blocked 17:27, 16 August 2017 Widr (talk | contribs) blocked Theatre in Paris (talk | contribs) with an expiration time of indefinite (account creation blocked) ({{uw-spamublock}})
  2. The title of the page alone should have been a clue that the page didn't need to exist (page titled the same as the username)

Can I ask that you please be more cautious in your application of the promising draft template as this is not the first time that you've applied the template to pages for which the editor is indefinitely blocked for spam/COI. Hasteur (talk) 02:00, 2 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I did not investigate the author of the page, I only looked at the content of the page. It is slightly promotional, but not speedy-deletable IMO, and it included references to articles in two major newspapers (as well as other references -- not sure about how good those are). I disagree that the title alone indicates that it should be deleted. Calliopejen1 (talk) 17:32, 2 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Promising draft

Though "Editors should not remove this tag unless they placed it themselves or the page creator placed it," at least seven drafts you marked as {{promising draft}} no longer bear the template. Other editors may have objected to the improper removals and already restored the template. However, you may want to check the pages yourself; furthermore, if you would like any of the above pages or other pages you have tagged with {{promising draft}} to retain the template, then you may want to monitor them. A convenient list of all promising drafts that is not affected by decategorization is manually maintained at User:Godsy/Promising drafts.
