Requesting access for updating census data of highly populated Indian villages in Kerala state and other human settlements on this planet in future. Pachu Kannan (talk) 10:12, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I would like access to AWB to fix CheckWiki issues more efficiently than I currently do using WPCleaner. I also want to streamline typo fixing as part of WP:TYPO. I understand I have been denied it twice in the recent past, but I strongly believe that I am fit for getting the permission now, as I gained significantly more experience and done more constructive edits. I would like to use AWB's Checkwiki functionality to alter position of references with respect to punctuation and incorrect ISBNs as I am frequently revising pages that need reference issue support; use find and replace for music album title issues; and use AWB for assistance on creating and correcting items and links within categories of music genres, domestic flag information, and public parks. Thank you. Shotgunheist💬 19:49, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to get AWB to improve articles' layouts, correcting Spanish settlement infoboxes, changing IPA-va (deprecated) to IPA|ca-valencia, adding IPA, correcting links, etc. I had AWB rights in the past, however I stopped using Wikipedia due to COVID-19. Now I am fully recovered and would like to carry on improving things here and there. Thank you. Nuvolet (talk) 20:23, 11 September 2024 (UTC) Nuvolet (talk) 20:23, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting permission to use AWB, primarily for use in Canadian soccer article creation and citation cleanup. In particular, looking to fix dates/citation template/syntax/typos, scrape page titles, convert URL encoded characters, simplify links, and identify unnamed references that can be combined into named ones. Would find this very useful for tedious/repetitive edits. Thanks! Cocobb8 (💬 talk • ✏️ contribs) 15:45, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Primefac, for tasks such as changing dates to be consistent in an article or doing citation cleanup when I'm reviewing AfCs and NPPs. Thanks for the consideration! Cocobb8 (💬 talk • ✏️ contribs) 15:51, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

My request originates from having performed a page move for disambiguation reasons (Gold Over America Tour → 2021 Gold Over America Tour). Asking for AWB access so that I can now turn the redirect into a disambiguation page and ensure that articles which link to the original name point to the correct page (and for potential similar actions in the future). I would like to use this tool to work more the linting issues but as they are repetitive task, an automated tool will be big help. Aadirulez8 (talk) 22:43, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Planning on going through the caves of the world lists. The biggest change will be "Caves" to "Artificial Caves" for manmade locations, and the secondary change will be adding the "Artificial Caves" tag to manmade location. I believe I have the required tenure and edit count to qualify for the tool. Thanks! Kingsmasher678 (talk) 15:26, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request withdrawn based on the striking. Primefac (talk) 13:18, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I've been asked to create talk pages (linking to wikiprojects) for category pages which I have created. This would be easy with AWB (there are a lot of them). Perspicax (talk) 13:37, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I think (as suggested on your talk page) rater might be a better tool for this. Primefac (talk) 13:17, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have appealed my JWB ban, at WP:AN#User:Dicklyon JWB ban appeal, and will report back here when that gets decided. Dicklyon (talk) 19:33, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I used to be a regular AWB user when working with Stubs and re-categorizations. It appears that my credentials have either expired or been revoked for some reason. Thank you for re-instating / re-granting those rights to use the AWB software.
