Pending changes reviewer

I noticed that many articles related to Muhajirs have been ignored by pending changes reviewer. I intend to focus on the Muhajir articles. Flamealpha123 (talk) 12:12, 23 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I am familiar with all the policies listed and I have been editing Wikipedia for 5 months. RoostTC(please ping me when replying) 10:47, 27 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I patrol recent changes and would like to be able to accept pending revisions. Frogging101 (talk) 15:45, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Now that I understand what vandalism is and is not, I regularly monitor pages to check for them. Pending changes will allow me to check if the edit is vandalism and I will not misuse this power. Sahas P. (talk) 13:30, 1 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I understand what vandalism is and is not, I have rollback rights and have been around long enough to know how to deal with vandals my contributions will agree with that too. I will not misuse it if I get it. I will respect your decision if you choose not grant that right but please take a look at my contributions throughly before making a decision. I have noticed that a lot of vandalism occurs when the page does not have any reviewers for the edit to go through, and is thus a free space for people to edit. I would like to work on keeping the pages I listed on my userpage from being vandalized bt previewing their edits, as they are the only pages that I have a large ammount of understanding of. I hope you will see this as a legitimate reason for these rights, and grant them to me. Justyouraveragelechuga my talk page 18:44, 9 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. I think you would benefit from having more experience to get this permission. Firstly, I'm not sure you quite understand what this permission allows you to do. For almost all articles, vandalism is reverted after it's life. When you see vandalism, you can go the history of the article and click undo. It seems you have never done this before. Only a subset of articles will have WP:pending changes protection, so that edits need to be previewed. This user right will allow you to accept good edits. You can already revert vandalism of articles under pending changes protection. —Femke 🐦 (talk) 10:38, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I am familiar with all the policies listed and I have been editing Wikipedia for more than 5 years. I often noticed disruptive pending changes getting slow reviews which makes constructive editing by experienced editors tiresome. The worst case is when constructive edits & revisions get stuck between bad pending changes. I also noticed that some reviewers aren't informed about the subject of the article and accept IP revisions in a rush (latest example see Talk:Luka Modrić#December - IP pending edits).  Done. Note that bad pending changes can be reverted by people without the perm as well. —Femke 🐦 (talk) 13:21, 11 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have been actively editing since September 2022, most of which is reverting vandalism. I monitor the recent changes for vandalism and also check pages and its sources for inaccuracies while I am browsing Wikipedia. luis. 💬 19:56, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
