Title

[edit]

Surely the title of this article should be "List of championship-winning managers in English football"? "List of managers of the football championship" can't possibly be right, because the men in question managed the champions, but they didn't manage the championship. It also makes it sound like it is a list of all the managers in the EFL Championship...... -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 20:34, 4 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'd agree with what Chris wrote, the title doesn't really work in its current format. Kosack (talk) 12:11, 6 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Everyone knows the football championship is there to be managed, and we should have a list of those people who managed the football championship properly through thick and thin. Some managed the football championship well, some managed the football championship poorly, but ultimately it's not how you manage the football championship, but if. Are we or are we not a football championship?</sarcasm>
I strongly agree with the page move as it currently makes no sense. I think you can be bold and just go ahead and do it. SportingFlyer T·C 14:12, 6 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
