[edit]Forté or Forte? Where did we get the 'é' with the accent? His jersey, NFL.com, and Pro-Football Reference profile say 'Forte'. Even his official Twitter and Facebook feeds do not use the accent. Should the title of this page be changed? Discuss -- StarScream1007 ►Talk 22:14, 11 January 2014 (UTC)
- A Google search of "Matt Forté" leads to suggesting if we meant Forte without the accent. ZappaOMati 22:39, 11 January 2014 (UTC)
- Ah! I looked at this page's first revision. Forte's bio on Tulane's website spells his last name 'Forté'. I assume this is what the article creator used. So this makes things interesting. -- StarScream1007 ►Talk 00:41, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
- Hm, so should we play the Google hit search game or something now? ZappaOMati 01:03, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
- Usually that's a good idea. but I keep getting the same number of results with both variations. Google just treats the accented E as a normal E :p. In a twist, I also found this: [1] -- StarScream1007 ►Talk 03:07, 12 January 2014 (UTC)

- Since ChicagoBears.com and NFL.com have him listed as "Forte", the best option should be to change the article's name to "Matt Forte" w/o the accent. Anyone opposed? -- StarScream1007 ►Talk 17:24, 5 December 2014 (UTC)
So how about bringing the accent back? It's on his Jets jersey.
