Tribute

[edit]

For all of the DYKs that I have created, I have to thank Allen3 for his help with one in particular. Without him, the famous Jesus Christ is Risen Today hook may never have run on Easter. He and I both endured a lot of stick from others over this storm in a teacup that came to be known as the "Easter Scandal" but responded to them all admirably and with dignity. And for that I always respected him and will always remember him as an unshakable intellectual admin whom you could always talk to if there was a problem. Rest in Peace my friend, may God guide you to His Kingdom. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 08:26, 6 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Allen3 was a very fine member of our community. I always appreciated how efficiently and un-dramatically he promoted and updated the queues. I had been wondering where he was, and am sorry to hear this news. Allen3, you are missed. Yoninah (talk) 11:01, 6 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
