Proposed deletion of My Red Book
[edit]The article My Red Book has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Unreleased album and so therefore not notable unless more sources can be found
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. LenTheWhiteCat 14:42, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
August 2020
[edit]Hello, I'm Bagumba. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to LeBron James have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Specifically per WP:ELMINOFFICIAL, listing his official website is sufficient. —Bagumba (talk) 08:50, 29 August 2020 (UTC)
Arena Corinthians/Neo Química Arena
[edit]Hello! I reverted your move as the stadium has been known as Arena Corinthians since its inception until one day ago. Many articles have links to that title. The new name is something temporary for maybe 20 years (perhaps more), but the original name is what we tend to keep for those situations. Some other articles follow the same pattern (Docklands Stadium, City of Manchester Stadium, Westfalenstadion...) with the exception of stadiums/arenas that were already built with a naming right decided. Gsfelipe94 (talk) 00:45, 3 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Gsfelipe94: Hello. Sorry, but that you say makes no sense. Look for this article Allianz Arena. Whats is the name of this stadium? For your logic Allianz Parque should be called Arena Palmeiras, because here in Brazil many company media use this name and this is the popular name of the stadium. Remembering that Allianz Parque is also temporary because Allianz buys the naming rights only for 20 years. Sorry, but you are wrong and your argument does not support. I'm Brazilian and I can guarantee to you that's the new name of the stadium is Neo Química Arena and not more Arena Corinthians. Raphael Figueira (talk) 07:49, 3 September 2020 (UTC)
- I'm Brazilian and a Corinthians' supporter. I've been on Wikipedia for 7 years and I've been updating Corinthians' related articles (including seasons) for a while as well. So that last part of your speech makes no sense whatsoever as an argument. Of course the Arena is called Neo Química Arena now as part of the naming rights deal. Apparently you did not read correctly what I've said. If you noticed this part: with the exception of stadiums/arenas that were already built with a naming right decided, you would've realized that I already mentioned what you've said. Some stadiums (like Bayern's or Palmeiras') were already built with naming rights decided. They've always had that name. The three others I mentioned (not including Arena Corinthians and the ... that clearly shows there are many more) have the stadium's regular name as title of the article, but the redirect for the name used as part of sponsorship reasons goes to them and the body of the article has every single info. Anyway, It's even clearer now, just like you can notice in 10 seconds that I'm Brazilian and obviously know everything you said (true or not). Gsfelipe94 (talk) 14:01, 3 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Gsfelipe94: I've been a Palmeiras supporter, contributing to Wikipedia for 14 years and I do not agree with your arguments, especially when you use the contract's time issue. I don't see any problem in going back on some arguments, I've made a lot of mistakes here and I'm humbled to admit and go back. Now, I believe that in your case, you lacked a little humility to talk to a simple collaborator. A tip: pull rank your contribution time doesn't help in any discussion. Hugs Raphael Figueira (talk) 14:15, 3 September 2020 (UTC)
- I've never diminished your participations/contributions, but you were the one starting with the "I'm Brazilian" stuff assuming you knew best. My argument is embodied in the WT:FOOTBALL consensus and you can see it here. Take care. Gsfelipe94 (talk) 14:21, 3 September 2020 (UTC)
