Rate this book
New York Times best-selling author Kimberly Snyder shares her modern take on ancient teachings to help you unlock the secrets of your heart's true potential and reclaim your personal power, energy, and vitality.

Many of us trudge through life burdened by excessive thinking and confusion, experiencing low energy, mediocre health, stress, anxiety, and feeling not enough. Yet there is a potent, overlooked solution to all of these challenges. It’s right here inside of our hearts.

For millennia, the ancients believed the heart was a power center, a gateway to tapping into our highest potential. Recent research has unveiled a hidden intelligence within the heart, revealing it houses around 40,000 neurons. This “heart brain,” acts as a second brain and has a powerful influence not just on our guts and nervous systems, but on all aspects of our physical and emotional well-being.

In The Hidden Power of the Five Hearts, New York Times bestseller Kimberly Snyder helps you unlock the power of your heart’s intelligence. Drawing inspiration from time-honored wisdom and modern scientific understanding of heart coherence—the fascinating study of heart-brain communication—Kimberly provides transformative yet accessible insights to deepen your connection with your heart's power. In turn, you’ll experience quantum leaps in your physical health, abundance, and success, helping you attain better focus, more fulfilling relationships, confidence, and higher levels of peace while reducing stress and anxiety.

You’ll also be introduced to the 8-minute HeartAlign Meditation, a simple practice that has shown a significant 29% improvement in achieving a state of physical, emotional, and psychological balance after just four weeks.

It's time to get out of our heads and embrace heart-based living—and watch as every facet of your existence transforms with clarity, flow, and purpose.

Really practical and simple! I’ve heard most of the concepts before but the exercises in this book seem so much more doable! Thank you so much!

I’m not familiar with Kimberly Snyder’s previous work. However, heart coherence is really important to me and her ability to bridge ancient teachings and the science of heart coherence in a well organized and accessible way is very important work. In all my years of practicing mindful meditation and reading historical, religious, and spiritual texts, I’ve never been able to feel the resonance I do with heart coherence. It is deeply shifting. Instead of managing my mind with my mind and having scattered ideas of the way life works from multiple sources, I’m tending to my heart. It’s that simple. I connect to my heart and everything else falls into place. It’s truly expansive.❤️

I absolutely loved this book. The author debunks the notion of the heart being responsible for emotional decisions versus the pragmatic mind. It’s quite the contrary, the mind is synonymous to the “ego” and “wild horse mind” and the heart is where pure love and peace are.

This is a book I’d love to read over and over to fully practice its teachings. There are many meditations the author shares to gain peace and strength. She also refers to many well known yogis and the practices of Heart Intelligence.

After reading this book I gained more awareness to self, community and inner strength.

Good advice and practice would've like to see more science

Good advice and practice would've like to see more science. Main thing is to connect and breathe love into your heart daily to create coherence between brain And heart. That just gets repeated in every chapter.

There were some good nuggets in here wrapped in a lot of fluff and suggestions to buy her supplements.
