I was only a boy when I saw my mother murdered in front of me. That does something to a man. It turns him hard, cold and makes him an addict for control. In all things.
My desires are dark and what I’m interested in is far more than simple submission. I’ve been waiting for someone as broken as me. Someone who truly needs to give up complete control and rely on me to take away her pain.
And then I found her. Katia. My kitten.
The moment I laid eyes on her gorgeous face, full lips and seductive curves, she stole the air from my lungs. It’s been so long since I’ve wanted something so intensely. She devours my every waking moment, teasing me with just a taste.
She’s stronger than she knows, but haunted by a past that won’t loosen its grip on her.
She’s refused my collar and I know why. The last one she wore wasn’t by choice.
But this time she’s going to beg for it.I can give her what he didn’t - true domination and trust. I’ll own her pleasure, her happiness and she can sate my desire for complete control.
I only need her to give me a chance. Just one chance to buy her.
The moment she agrees and steps on that stage at the auction, she’s mine. But she doesn’t have to worry, I’ll care for all her desires.
*Sold is a full-length standalone DARK romance with an HEA, no cheating, and no cliffhanger.

Was not for me. It reads like a bad Wattpad book. Also, wasn't a fan of the whole Master/slave dynamic, it came across as gag worthy.
Katia had no personality despite the author trying to forcefully write and give her depth. Isaac just pissed me off whenever he yelled Kitten, like broooo use her name for once 😭😭😭 These two were so delulu I wanna put the rest of the series on pause.
Sold: Highest Bidder book 2# By Willow Winters, Lauren Landish
Issac- ‘Master” Katia. . – “Slave”
Two broken Souls that need each other in more ways than one. He needs to be the master at all times and she pretty much needs to be the slave just as much
Both have secrets in their past that they like to keep to herself.
I believe her story was a heart-wrenching story of Despair & pain.. It’s a pure miracle that she would want still practice in this lifestyle..
She was tortured beaten scarred basically Left for dead & yet here she is looking for a Master in Club X
“Katia, what does being a Master mean?” “It means loving someone so strongly that your life revolves around them. That every action is made with their wellbeing in mind. Their happiness is yours. Their pleasure is yours. Their life is yours. And the opposite is true for them.” ***I received a free copy of this book from Read for Review in exchange for an honest review*** Keep in mind this is only my opinion- you may like or dislike this book I recommend this book.
Wow! I really enjoyed this one! It's sexy, emotional, and provided me one the funniest moments I've ever shared with husband.
Here's the breakdown: Isaac provides security for Club X. He periodically dabbles in play, but longs to have a submissive of his own. He's a Sadist, but only uses pain as a means to achieve pleasure. He's a Dominant Master who craves a slave of his own. "My taste are specific. A Slave. I crave the power being a Master allows me, and the desire to control and provide her every need."
Katia is a survivor. She's experienced horrific trauma, but she refuses to let it beat her down. Due to her past, she has very specific needs. Club X and specifically, Isaac, may be just what she needs.
What I enjoyed: The emotional aspect of the story. Initially, I felt sorry for Katia. That feeling grew into empathy. I can't imagine what it would feel like to experience the pain she's dealt with. Because of that, I was rooting for her...hard. I couldn't wait to see how the story unfolded so she could finally find true happiness again. I was completely invested.
Isaac is sexy, giving, patient, and nurturing. He understands Katia and her specific needs and endeavors to be everything she needs. While I enjoyed many aspects of his character as well as his actions, he definitely has some stalker tendencies :) Overall, he's a very intriguing character.
The Steam Factor of this book is off the charts. That's always a plus for a romance lover! One scene in particularly lead to a very interesting conversation with the hubster. He's still trying to figure out the logistics. Read the book and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about!!
Overall, Sold was a very solid read. I'm really looking forward to continuing with this series. I recommend this book to readers who enjoy, BDSM and semi-dark reads.
"Most of these women want a Dominant. They want to be able to rely on safe words. I don’t provide that. It’s something I’m not interested in. I want a woman's complete trust. Or at least her utter reliance on me, and total obedience."
Can we say toxic? Red flags? Abusive? Yes. Yes, we can. Maybe he has some character growth to go through, I certainly hope so. As a member of the bdsm community for over a decade, reading this made me physically ill. Anyone with this mindset in real life should not be trusted as a person to share any kind of dynamic with. No.
I'll continue and hope he grows up and sees how wrong this mindset is. If not I'll already say not to read it for any realistic expectations of a healthy bdsm dynamic.
Sure, there are dynamics that have no use for safe words because they have been together for so long and have the comfort to not use them anymore, but they still HAVE them. Any new dynamic should always have safe words and if anyone tells you different, don't walk, you fucking run from that inexperienced and dangerous idiot.
Also, I will say if this does not change in any way the author should have a warning in the book stating that this is not a depiction of a healthy BDSM relationship. This is conducive to an abusive one.

"It’s been a long time since a Slave has arrived. Someone who’s capable of trusting so wholeheartedly that they’re willing to give herself completely over to a Master."
THAT IS EVERY SINGLE DYNAMIC. PERIOD. AND ALL DYNAMICS SHOULD HAVE SAFE WORDS. Just because they are a Master doesn't make them fuckkng special or different to other shared dynamics within the bdsm community. All partners should trust and be willing. You are literally trusting someone with your body and your consent. I would dare say a rope bunny has way more faith in their partner that ties them than a slave does to a Master that whips them.
Seriously. Does this author know anything about dynamics? I want to scream at this fucking book. It is glaringly obvious the author doesn't have the knowledge needed for this kind of book. You can't make up your own ideals and boundaries to something that is real and quite serious, like bdsm. No. You either show people that think safe words are beneath them ARE FUCKING CRAZY or you don't write something you know nothing about. End of.
And he wants to take a girl that was abused, mentally and physically scarred, and get her into a M/s dynamic without safe words??? What the absolute fucking hell is this???

"I don’t want a safe word, I don’t want negotiation and compromise. I demand complete submission, and nothing less. It’s fucked up, but I want it."
WELL, AT LEAST YOU ADMIT YOURE A FUCKED UP HUMAN. BECAUSE THIS IS ABUSIVE AND TOXIC. Jesus.
This girl was kidnapped and kept for four years and now she wants to be in bdsm dynamic to basically relive her abuse but on her terms. I completely understand that, but with her inner dialogue and how she clearly states she isn't healed from it, she needs therapy not kinky sex. It is one thing to engage in a dynamic, fully aware of why but healed and in a healthy mindset for it, versus, entering a dynamic with no idea why. YOU DON'T DO THIS.
This whole review is going to turn into a rant of how wrong the bdsm community is portrayed which is shitty when I enjoyed the first book.

"I’ve hacked into the support group that I know Katia is an active member in. Extremely active. She comes on daily, and is one of only a handful of users in here."
"I’ve created my own account and made a false identity. I didn’t provide any major details, but most of the profiles here are lacking. I know it’s wrong, but I want to get to know her."
Well, if that's not stalker behavior and incredibly invasive I don't know what is. And I am supposed to like this guy, right? He isn't the bad guy? Are we sure? How manipulative. Disgusting.
Okay no. I'M DONE.
He decides to pull her into a private chat on her SUPPORT GROUP and talk to her about the abuse she went through with the guy that apparently broke her jaw, arm twice and etc... she states that she knew she was safe with him because she knew she wouldn't die in his hands. And now she wants another Master to dominate her.
AND HE IS GETTING TURNED ON. HIS DICK IS LITERALLY GETTING HARD AS SHE IS TELLING HIM WHAT SHE WENT THROUGH.
This was an okay read. I liked Katia and Isaac but sometimes he just displayed wayyy too many red flags for my taste — there's wanting to be in an M/s relationship and then there's saying you don't want to have any safe words, which is just...really wrong 😅
Wow.. this one was not very good. I got halfway through this before almost skimming the rest of it and could not get even a little invested in this one. Maybe because I had hoped it would be about the characters in the first book? Not so good. I’m glad it was only 200 and some pages.
Book Two: Katia & Isaac *self-purchased on Amazon. No need of sugar daddies called promo teams*
What’s this book about? (I'm trying to give as little spoilers as possible) Katia has had a rough couple of years, but she’s stronger now. She meets Isaac and although they hit it off (no pun intended), she doesn’t want to fully commit to him. M/s. Abducted, family loves her
Read right after book one, this was another page turner for me. Katia’s story was just as heart breaking as Dahlia’s although Katia had a silver lining in her horizon. I felt for her. I truly did. I rooted for her to rise from the ashes. Isaac was interesting to read and he might have actually been the most interesting of all four after having read all the Highest Bidder books. He had the same issues as the guy before. Money. Mom. Money. Sex. Resources. YAY. We continue en route with heroes that are imperfect, but their smut is the definition of perfection LOL. There’s a lot of heat here. I devoured this read and I was invested in its outcome from page one to the final sentence. I recommend this to readers who are looking for a dark BDSM read that’s a shade darker than book one of the series, adorable but imperfect leading men and tortured leading ladies whose pasts BREAK YOUR HEART.
ORIGINAL COMMENT: Review coming soon. This series is everything lol
AMAZINGLY FANTASTIC WONDERFUL BOOK! I GIVE IT 10,000 STARS!!!!!
TITLE OF BOOK: Sold: Highest Bidder AUTHOR(S) OF BOOK: Willow Winters and Lauren Landish DATE BOOK READ: 12/29/16 – 12/30/16
Willow Winters and Lauren Landish’s reputation speaks for itself. These are two of the best Bad Boy Authors in the business. Who knew that when they teamed up the first time that it would lead to a DYNAMIC DUO!!!! The Highest Bidder series has turned out to be the best these two have written. They grabbed your attention at the beginning of the book and held it till the end of the book. The story line is super fantastic and it takes you for a ride on the wild side. The main characters, Isaac and Kitten fit the story line so well they make you want to jump in the book and take Kitten’s (Katia) place. You have a dark powerful man, a broken but healing woman, mystery, secrets, and intrigue. What more could you want in a book? Oh yea…I forgot the amazing sex scenes with the added dark touch. Trust me when I say this is a book and series that you do not want to miss.
Isaac is a member of Club X and he owns the security company that provides security for the club. He is a billionaire and he is looking for someone as broken as he is. He saw his mother abused and murdered before his very eyes. It made him a broken and dark man, and therefore his desires are dark as well. When he finds Katia (aka Kitten) he knows that she is the one has been looking for. He plans for her and when she visits the club for the first time he is waiting for her. He knows that she is the one that will give him complete control and he will take away her pain. Katia (aka Kitten) has a dark past as well. She has this need to find her a master to fill the void in her life. She knew when she looked in Isaac’s eyes that he was the person she needed to be her master. She refuses to wear his collar but that is more to do with her broken past. Will Isaac be able to heal his Kitten? Will Katia be able to give Isaac the one thing he wants, and wear his collar? Will the two of them find what they need in each other, or will they stay broken?
No Spoilers. Advanced Reader Copy read voluntarily.
Sold is the second book from the Highest Bidder series. In it, you will meet Isaac and Katia. These two definitely needed one another.. even if it took them a while to realize this. They both have pasts that left them a bit broken so these master and slave rolls were more than bdsm. They were the air that the needed. It helped them cope with what is going on in the real world.
This book was definitely interesting. I couldn't put it down which is good because it was an audio. So, I guess that means I couldn't pause it lol. Katia definitely went through some shady shit in her life. When she entered Club X, the angels were singing because she found her heaven.
Katia and Isaac were one of those couples that you couldn't stop shipping. I was rooting for them from the moment that they met. The entire time I was just waiting for these two to be like, okay I'm yours forever and you're mine. Just casually twiddling my thumbs.. it happened but it took forever.
Overall, I'm loving this series and I couldn't wait to dive into the next book.
Oh man. This book was a little rough for me to get through but it was beautiful! Their backstories kinda sorta broke me and then Lauren and Willow just barely put me back together! Their strength, their love, their needs! GAH! Love!!!!! Mind the TW if you’re sensitive. There were some flashbacks so keep that in mind.
Also, Audible and Kindle have different covers! I like the Kindle version myself!

This book is about Katia and Isaac who enter into a master/slave relationship. I liked Katia's character a lot I thought that there was a real vulnerability to her character. Watching her grow and learn to trust Isaac despite her horrific past really made me understand more where both characters were coming from and what they wanted. I was glad everything worked out for them and that they also grew to overcome their pasts and love each other.

This was once again read too informational.. like a manual…. It didn’t make me feel… it was a topical presentation…. I skimmed and then skipped entire chapters. I need a book that I don’t want to miss a single word of… a book that I don’t want to end… even though I’m racing to turn the page. This wasn’t it…
Issac started his own security company but they no longer take individuals on, now they are security for ClubX. Madam Lynn doesn't allow employees to participate in the club but has turned her head when it comes to Issac as long as he remains desecrate. He hasn't had a Slave in a long time but that is what he needs and wants. It is rare to see a Slave come through the club.
Katia is just getting back on her feet. She was kidnapped off the street and sold to a drug lord. She was used and abused by him and all he saw fit. Now she is back and runs her doggy daycare and boarding business. However, she feels the need for a Master. One of the people in her online support group invites her to ClubX. She finally goes at first everyone is passing her up, not wanting to take on a Slave, but then two men are arguing over her. She finally speaks up and chooses Issac, she knew he was her Master the minute she laid eyes on him.
Issac and Katia battle back and forth. He wants her collared and in his home. She has issues with both because of her past. Finally after winning her at auction, Issac gets to bring her home. He learns more about her past and wants to help her heal. It is a slow process but they both make it.
There are definitely some filler pages in this book which is why I feel I must only give it a two star rating. Issac gives Katia a list of 20 rules and they are listed out in detail when he writes them and again when she receives them. Also, the same memories for each of them are laid out in detail multiple times throughout the book.

Holey moley! I accidentally came across this book last night on Amazon and I thought I should give it a try. You know, for $1.21. I didn't know until now that this ebook also includes a copy of Inked & Bad Boy by the same authors. Score!
I've read my fair share of BDSM books and frankly, I was quite fed up with this genre. But. I'm intrigued, fascinated really, by this life style. I've spent hours reading about real life bdsm relationships and I still can't wrap my head around it. Why on Earth would someone want to be stripped of their own freedom, or completely dominate another person for that matter. It still boggles my mind to this day.
I'm a rebel by nature and I can't even wear a turtleneck or a necklace without suffocating. Just the thought of wearing a friggin' collar and walking around on all fours, makes me wanna put the oxygen mask on my face and run for the hills.
Back to the story...
Isaac & Katia. Both are broken souls, scarred and damaged by their past and crave the Master/slave relationship to heal their wounds. I loved their relationship and their sexual chemistry was off the charts. I loved how authors presented the whole Master/slave relationship. No humiliation, basically no bondage or that other shit I can no longer stomach. Nope. IT WAS FRIGGIN' HOT!
Goddamn you, Isaac. I'd be your slave. The man's just
The story is unique, emotionally intense and based on trust, healing and eroticism. The characters are complex and well developed. The writing is compelling and original. There was NO om/ow drama whatsoever and I find that very refreshing.
I'd give it 5* if one of the characters would have chosen this life style simply because he/she liked it, without having a shitty past. Anyway, I LOVED IT and I'll read by these authors again.
As soon as Isaac saw Kitia at Club X he wanted her, she was as broken as he was. Kitia is looking for a Master she is a slave needing 24/7 domination. Kitia was taken at the age of 16 yrs old and the men who took her abused her and called themselves her Masters they collared her and shackle her ankle. Now she has physical scares on the outside from the abuse of being dragged and of course on the inside. Issac wants to help Kitia heal but don't realize he is damaged also, he watched his mother die right in front of him.
Kitia walks in Club X and kneeled in a submissive position looking for a master. One other man stood before Kitia trying to claim her however Isaac decided to take charge because he refuse to lose Kitia he wants her. As Issac approach Kitia in her submissive position they locked eyes and its decided she lays her face on his shoe choosing him as her Master. Kitia due to her past abduction don't want to where a collar of ownership and Issac is getting fed up and ask Madama Lynn for help. Madama Lynn convinces Kitia to go up for auction to get rid of some of her demons but she wants a guarantee that only Issac will win her for the 30 days. Will Kitia get what she needs from Issac as a Master and will Issac demons get the best of him before the 30 days are over?
now, what the fuck did i just read 😭? this book was so horrible and yet i still cried bc of the third act breakup — istg i’m a sucker for those. i literally LOOOVED the third act breakup. everything else was shit. the characters were so annoying and weird. the plot was soo boring, istg there wasn’t even a plot?? the smut was hot at first but then shit got boring. also why the fuck is isaac like a wizard, because she can only cum when he gives permission. so i’m just casually reading and randomly he’s like ‘cum!’ and bam. i genuinely didn’t mind him calling her kitten because he didn’t overuse it. also thank the lord that these books don’t have the cringey ass dirty talk, it’s all just action. i was mildly cringed out when katia’s reward was to bathe isaac. also this book felt more like ‘dark romance’ in comparison to the first one. i do need to point out that the master/slave dynamic was kinda uh strange.
Sold is the next story in the highest bidder series and I have to admit the dynamics are new to me with regards M/s. Isaac researches everything about Kat that he can before she’s invited to Club X but when they meet for the first time, the chemistry between them is undeniable but unfortunately her past stands in the way of her moving forward. Will Isaac be able to help her overcome her past?
A good story of two people broken by their circumstances, that come together in an effort to heal themselves and move forward❣️I received an advanced copy with the Highest Bidder Collection which I voluntarily leave my honest review😁
I’ve noticed so far these books are good 3/4 of the way in but after that it feels rushed. I’ve also feel like even though it’s dual pov I’m not feeling that slowly falling in love from the male character. It’s like my heart twitches in a way I haven’t felt in a long time and 2 chapters later he’s confessing his love ? Like uhh. Very rushed in that prospective. I for sure like this one more just bc of the main character was so giving and had such a sad upbringing.
I really enjoyed the plot of this story. I will say that after reading this, I’ve realized M/s relationships are not really for me when it comes to my reading taste. I’m not here to judge if it’s your thing, but I never got used to the “Yes, Master” and every time I read it I cringed and had to block it out. Apart from that I had no other complaints.
I liked this story, but sometimes it got a little rough for me. Some of the things the two main characters did annoyed me, like Katia running away and then coming back. I get she has past trauma, but some of it seemed weird to me. However, Isaac had the same issue when it came to his mom, so I guess it makes sense. Overall, it was still an easy audio to get through.

BDSM Master/Slave=Isaac & Katia who he calls "Kitten". They are both damaged with loads of baggage and he trains her to be a slave that she wants to be. OK but kind of choppy. Not my type but it was free
This book was so good! I couldn’t put it down as I was reading and by the end I was reading so fast hoping for a happy ending! I was in tears by the end with joy and complete satisfaction. The characters grew so much throughout the story and was truly beautiful!
