Anna Di In my family, I am the youngest of ten children born in Italy. During World War II, my mother lost three sons; ages 17, 7, and 9 months. I grew up and had three sons of my own. Because of the stories I had heard about the heartbreak and loss, I was terrified of just the thought of losing any one of my own children. I had no idea how I would cope with such a loss. This prompted me to asked her how she was able to go on with such terrible loss in such a short period of time. My mother was uneducated, could not read or write; however, was the wisest woman I have ever known. She told me she went on because, what else could she do, she had other children to raise and they needed her. What she told was so profound and has stayed with all my life. It has guided me through divorce, the loss of my parents and the loss of my sister and two brothers, one step at a time.

Jennifer Can not wait for it to come out! I love reading books that take place in areas of the world I recognize.

David Lucero For some reason I prefer books written in 3rd person versus 1st, although the books I've read in 1st person are quite good. As a writer myself I suppose it's what I feel most comfortable.
