A classic detective story aptly told. Set in a glamorous locale with interesting characters. Plus more romance than an Ellis Peters mystery. This is a fast fun read and its clear why Agatha Christie is considered such a master of the mystery form.

Much like Orient Express this is Christie at her best. Anytime Hercule Poirot get involved it's good for me. He is one of the best fictional detectives ever created in my book. Christie is a genius at putting people in a situation where they have to interact and giving you a taste of what these people are really like. If you have read her yet, this is an excellent one to start with. She doesn't need to be read in order just jump right in and start an excellent adventure.
