The field of medical imaging is experiencing fast development. Various new techniques, as well as improvement of the classical ones abound. One can mention for instance various hybrid (multi-wave) methods, multi-spectral CT, Compton camera imaging, drastic improvements in ultrasound imaging, use of machine learning, etc.
The lectures at the workshop will address some of these new exciting developments.
This is a 2-day event with plenary lectures and poster session. The first being held Friday, November 22 at 2:30 pm in Blocker, Room 220. The remaining lectures will be held Saturday, November 23 beginning at 9:00 am in Blocker, Room 149.
The workshop is supported by The Institute for Applied Mathematics and Computational Science.
