Our Mission

In its early stages, the JXTX Foundation will provide support for students and trainees to attend conferences in computational biology and data science, where they can present their work and form connections with other researchers in the field. With the goal of advancing mentorship, the JXTX Foundation will support initiatives where students receive mentoring and engage in hands on research.

Scholarships

In 2024, the JXTX Foundation will sponsor graduate students attending The Biology of Genomes and Genome Informatics conferences at the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL), as well as the Galaxy Community Conference (GCC) in Brno.

Academic Mentorship
Student Outreach

Student Outreach

In its later stages, the Foundation will sponsor in-person visits from students (high school or college age) to its hotspots, which currently include Johns Hopkins and Penn State University.
