Sable City (Japanese: サビシティ Sabi City) is a small animated series-exclusive town located in Kanto, very close to Pewter City.

In The Ole' Berate and Switch!, Sable City held a one-day Pokémon Tournament, in which Ash entered to train for his upcoming match at the Battle Pyramid. Ash participated with his Corphish, who helped him win against Howie and Oriba. However, Max accidentally discovered that Team Rocket's Butch and Cassidy had created the event as a scheme to steal all the competitors' Pokémon and give them to the Boss. Ash and his friends joined forces with the other Trainers to defeat the plot, while the Team Rocket trio helped and decided to get their revenge on rivals Butch and Cassidy.
