The XY Trainer Kit is a special Half Deck Trainer Kit for the Pokémon Trading Card Game and features the Pokémon Sylveon and Noivern. It was released on March 12, 2014. In the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online's Trainer Challenge, the two Half Decks are combined into a Theme Deck called Mindbind, obtainable by redeeming the code from this kit.

For the first time since the EX Series, the featured cards included in the Trainer Kit are not reprints from main expansions and are instead exclusive to the Trainer Kit. None of the cards have Rarity symbols and they each feature a collection number and set symbol exclusive to the kit.
In addition to the Half Decks, the XY Trainer Kit also includes a deck box, a rulebook, damage counters, status counters, a custom coin featuring the Kalos first partner Pokémon, and playmat. The kit also includes a Trainer Kit Guide, which takes players through an example battle. There is one guide for each of the Half Decks included. Unlike previous Trainer Kits, this product does not include a Booster pack.
