An edit summary
Your edit summary: (I object. Thicken up your skin a bit.) appears to me to misunderstand the issue. I do not believe that it is appropriate to suggest that those who are opposed to the essay have, themselves, a "thin skin". I don't have a thin skin, and yet I think the essay is damaging and inappropriate in the form to which you restored it.
Please allow normal editing to proceed and work thoughtfully with others to improve the essay. A complete revert is generally not the most helpful thing - try to find something in what your opponent has written that you can agree to, or try to suggest alternative wordings to help address our concerns.--Jimbo Wales 10:32, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
