We suspect this was caused by https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/mediawiki/extensions/SearchVue/+/1079605
^ New bug impacting our ability to monitor logs during train deployment
I've created the tickets above and marked as high priority!
This is at least partially implemented (https://es.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/Charts_2.0) and may benefit from QA.
@santhosh do you know off the top of your head if this is supported?
I was surprised to learn that Apache echarts doesn't support rendering in RTL. https://github.com/apache/echarts/issues/16419
I also understand this might not be a huge problem for RTL readers (at least in Hebrew?)
This would be resolved if we added client side JS (per recommendation in T376971)
I actually explored this as part of T376971
I would recommend we don't do this (at least right now).
I've added an ADR around this decision. Once we've got agreement, i'll open two new tickets with the following acceptance criteria:

Hmmm I can replicate this in safe mode so maybe this is not gadget related? https://bn.m.wikivoyage.org/wiki/%E0%A6%89%E0%A6%87%E0%A6%95%E0%A6%BF%E0%A6%AD%E0%A7%8D%E0%A6%B0%E0%A6%AE%E0%A6%A3:%E0%A6%A8%E0%A6%BF%E0%A6%AC%E0%A6%A8%E0%A7%8D%E0%A6%A7_%E0%A6%AA%E0%A7%8D%E0%A6%B0%E0%A6%A4%E0%A6%BF%E0%A6%AF%E0%A7%8B%E0%A6%97%E0%A6%BF%E0%A6%A4%E0%A6%BE_%E0%A7%A8%E0%A7%A6%E0%A7%A8%E0%A7%AA/%E0%A6%A8%E0%A6%BF%E0%A6%AC%E0%A6%A8%E0%A7%8D%E0%A6%A7_%E0%A6%A4%E0%A6%BE%E0%A6%B2%E0%A6%BF%E0%A6%95%E0%A6%BE?debug=1&safemode=1
For web WikimediaMessages solves the issues of tables in content via this stylesheet:
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/load.php?lang=en&modules=ext.wikimediamessages.styles&only=styles
You may want to copy it or include it in the apps rather than stripping colors from the tables.
One word of note: Italian Wikipedia is using legacy Vector here - as a result it is not getting the same level of testing and performance monitoring then the rest of Wikimedia projects which uses Vector skin.
I think the request here is to enable wgMinervaTalkAtTop - you can go ahead and do that by following https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_site_requests
ie. is it possible to show the number of "logout" clicks from logged in user that have a username starting with ~20?
No. Not with the existing schema. We do not log username for privacy reasons.
Web team chatted about this. We think that there is likely a future product need to have more granularity about which client preference changed in addition to a resize event. For example CodeEditor expressed an interest in such as event, but only needs to adapt if the theme changes, but not the size of the browser. However without this use case right now there is no clear motivation to do that.
❌ AC1: Confirm that the Donate link appears in the user menu.
I can replicate on https://bn.m.wikivoyage.org/wiki/%E0%A6%89%E0%A6%87%E0%A6%95%E0%A6%BF%E0%A6%AD%E0%A7%8D%E0%A6%B0%E0%A6%AE%E0%A6%A3:%E0%A6%A8%E0%A6%BF%E0%A6%AC%E0%A6%A8%E0%A7%8D%E0%A6%A7_%E0%A6%AA%E0%A7%8D%E0%A6%B0%E0%A6%A4%E0%A6%BF%E0%A6%AF%E0%A7%8B%E0%A6%97%E0%A6%BF%E0%A6%A4%E0%A6%BE_%E0%A7%A8%E0%A7%A6%E0%A7%A8%E0%A7%AA/%E0%A6%A8%E0%A6%BF%E0%A6%AC%E0%A6%A8%E0%A7%8D%E0%A6%A7_%E0%A6%A4%E0%A6%BE%E0%A6%B2%E0%A6%BF%E0%A6%95%E0%A6%BE - I can look into the associated gadget later and suggest a fix.
This is still occurring at a significant rante - mostly on bn.m.wikivoyage.org and en.m.wikivoyage.org
so I assume a gadget there also needs to be updated.
@Seddon I reached out to you on Slack with some next steps. I can pick up the sunsetting conversation as part of the decision brief exercise.

@GMikesell-WMF this looks like a problem with caching.
I cleared the cache using https://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/w/index.php?title=Garlic&action=purge
If you test again it should look correct.
I did a review of temporary accounts on the beta cluster. In this assessment I am working on the assumption that temporary accounts will only be deployed to wikis where Vector 2022 is the default skin and Minerva is the default skin for anonymous and temporary users.
I made a few modifications to the patch today. Bernard can you take a look and +2 ?
I have made some proposals to go over (and add to) in SHDT tomorrow. Web team engineers can check the agenda beforehand in our notes doc.

I had a chat with @DTorsani-WMF yesterday and @CCiufo-WMF today. Fixing this issue is a blocker for deployment. After talking to both of them, I am leaning towards us loading Apache eCharts on the client.
It's going to be a long regular expression. Personally I think we'd need "expanded categories" for every page.
I think the API call needs a slight modification.
scroll to the bottom and click on the little information button. The issue described should appear.
I don't see the little information button even with the beta feature enabled. I think I need some kind of user permission?
I'll try and set this up locally. I just need to be able to reproduce this to test your patch. I also want to make sure the IP masking popup is using the z–index as if it is not, there are likely bugs elsewhere.
