Name

Isoetes lacustris L., Sp. Pl. 2: 1100 (1753).

Type locality according to protologue: “in Europae frigidae fundo lacuum”.
Lectotype (designated by Fuchs in Beih. Nova Hedwigia 3: 30, 103, fig. 10. 1962): Herb. Linn. 1256.1 (LINN).
