How Google Play services for safety & emergency handles your data
Google Play services for safety and emergency may collect and share certain information and use certain permissions to support safety and emergency-related functions on your device.
Important: Any information that Google collects is handled in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
Permission use- Nearby Devices for bluetooth may be used to detect and send COVID-19 exposure notifications.
- Location may be sent to emergency responders via Emergency Location Service and used to detect and alert you about earthquakes.
- SMS may be used to send your location to authorized emergency partners. This helps you share your device location when you call or text a supported emergency number.
