- Other works"Official" dubber in Italy of Woody Allen. He dubbed Allen in every movie but Casino Royale (1967). His quirky acting is very similar to the original and he even resembles Allen a bit. That made his voice so tied with Woody Allen to the Italian audience, that when Antz (1998) came out - where Allen is the voice of Zee the ant - it was just the natural choice to have Zee dubbed by Lionello.

- TriviaAside from his career as comedian, he was also one of Italy's greatest dubbing actors, he provided the Italian voice of Woody Allen in most of his movies, of Gene Wilder in Frankenstein Junior, of Charlie Chaplin in The Great Dictator, of Robin Williams in Mork & Mindy, and many more. He was also famous for his impressions, mostly that of the politician Giulio Andreotti.
