Rana starred on the reality television program Starting Over during its first Season (2004). She, and fellow life coach Rhonda Britten, assisted an ever changing group of six women in achieving their goals during their time in the Starting Over house. |
The show's producers replaced Rana with Iyanla Vanzant for the second season of Starting Over as a result of Rana sharing that she did not wish to return for a second season. On her website, Rana expressed an accepting, peaceful attitude regarding her departure from the show. |
The situation was unique for her final client, Josie, who would return in the second season of the show. Since Rana would not be returning; and her replacement, Iyanla Vanzant, already had three clients; Josie's second life coach was Rhonda, who had been her support coach in the first season, making Josie the only client in Starting Over's existence, to change life coaches. |
