When he was in his early 20's he attended [[Brock University]] and Majored in Drawing and Painting. He always helped out at the local Big Black Pig Studio. Babensee usually ether silk-screened for the kids, or helped them paint. Teachers at Brock University referred to Babensee as a "new Rapheal." Eventually after graduation, he landed several successful jobs as an art teacher. When Babensee turned 30 years old he got a job at the public high school [[Sir John A. Macdonald Secondary School (Waterloo)]]. He was inspired by his student, Ryan Cort, into submitting some of his paintings into the Conestoga Art Museum. His painting, "Orange Self Portrait", was very popular, and was even featured in Hipster Magazine. |

Todd Babensee(born October 15, 1976) is a german artist from Waterloo, Ontario.
In the small community Bridgeport, Babensee had lived with his family. After a multitude of arguments with his parents, Babensee left and joined the army. After serving in the Canadian Armed Forces, he began his rise to fame as an artist.
