Ben (בן) is a Hebrew word meaning "son." It is also used in Jewish names such as David ben Moshe, which means David son of Moshe. This form is used in Jewish religious life. Compare to bat. This Jewish practice dates back to the time of the Second Temple. In Hebrew, ben can also mean "aged".

Ben is most often a shortened version of the given name Benjamin, Ben or Benedict. It can also refer to:
