Welcome to my Wikipedia user page! My interests include Catholicism, music (especially instrumental music; orchestral; jazz; country), cooking, linguistics, philosophy, and computers (esp. Linux and open-source software).
I grew up in Southern California (Los Angeles-Orange County area) and attended Woodrow Wilson Classical High School, graduated valedictorian, and went on to earn my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from California State University, Long Beach.
On August 23, 2010, I began pursuing a vocation to the priesthood in the Roman Catholic Church. In May of 2012, I completed the undergraduate pre-theology program, earning the Bachelor of Philosophy degree. On August 5, 2014, I professed religious vows in the congregation of the Oblates of the Virgin Mary. On February 9, 2018, I professed perpetual vows. On February 10, 2018, I was ordained a deacon, becoming a member of the clergy. In May of 2018, I completed the graduate program of the seminary, earning the Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Theology, and the Bachelor of Sacred Theology degrees. On August 4, 2018, I was ordained a priest.
I currently serve as a parochial vicar at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alton, IL.

Seeking wiki adoption
I have participated in a couple of GOCE backlog elimination drives, providing some constructive criticism regarding logistics of running the drives. I would like to get into more substantial editing and article improvement. Religion and philosophy interest me, as well as technical sciences and engineering. I am also interested in other languages and cultures.
