Grooovyyy! The years you pointed out are much deprived, but I also agree that the oldies are ignored. I dunno any films produced in the 30s and 40s. Maybe if I start filling in the oldies (30s and 40s), then you can seperate them for their individual pages. That should get people to start filling in the rest (hopefully!). It won't take long to fill in the 30s and 40 because not many films were produced then. What do you think? Or should I carry on from the 70s? -- [[User:Pa7|Pa7]] 14:01, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

: SILLY ME!! There are not that many films in the 1930s, what's the point in seperating! Nevertheless, added two films produced in 1930. -- [[User:Pa7|Pa7]] 14:07, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

"Ahh welcome Meester Bond. I've been expecting you"

Flag of Panama Ladies and gentleman, SPECTRE is now offering canoeing lessons to anybody interested in seemingly disappearing off the planet for five frickin years like jelly belly Harold frickin Bishop or more recently the 19th century scientist of world reknown Darwin. The Panamanian SPECTRE World Canoeing Championships will be held on January 1 2008 where my organnization will be offering people a chance to disappear and "extort" money in hiding in some hidden cave beneath the lake where they will be able to hide until 2013. SPECTRE guarantees you will not remember a thing, although all wives will be informed of developments.

If you are visiting with tagging for images or have some "frickin" criticism you are likely to hear an amplified response of my elk or my alligator with irritable bowel syndrome coming out of one of the vents in my Japanese volcano previously owned by Hirohito. Answer why

Because people are simply very very keen to ruin others' work. Please see WP:INB. Amarrg tried so hard to invalidate the reviews by saying that they aren't a general reception of her performance. He was looking for many criticisms (for roles which were described in the article as praised), and he found. But he didn't took into account the fact that for every negative review I can back up 5. That's what I did. See Talk:Preity Zinta#Reviews. I tried to give an analysis. If you can, have a look at the thread and give your comments. Unfairness and injustice is ugly to me. I'm losing all hopes to make this article good. See also the peer review of Zinta and what Amarrg was saying there. That Taran Adarsh is not a good critic because he gave low ratings for good films (citing different blogs). LOL. And now he tries to fins criticisms for Zinta to invalidate them and to remove everything. The article has now many negative reviews I just don't get how can people be so unkind. Just honestly and openly want to ruin others' work. It's unfair! ShahidTalk2me 21:33, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OMG he really freaks me out.... But now I'm thinking of what will happen with the Zinta article. I won't remove reviews because of some users' POV. God, it's so sad!:( ShahidTalk2me 22:56, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Great! Enjoy :) ShahidTalk2me 23:16, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, amazing work pal! And congrats for the 90,000!!! It's just huge!!! Yeh, I'm now creating an article for one of his films, it's time to remove the red links from his filmo. Regards:) ShahidTalk2me 22:32, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
LOL!! How are you? Are you excited towards christmas? ShahidTalk2me 13:27, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes!!! Italian women are amazing! They have an amazing and very unique charm, and I find their loud speaking manner very attractive. I think Sophia Loren is an amazing actress isn't she? I think Italian culture is very interesting, they have a very widespread cinema and their music is excellent. Toto Cutugno is an excellent singer and was doing very well even in Indian radio charts. But I don't see why you have to move to Italy. You live in the UK. It's great! ShahidTalk2me 14:40, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reply: Plans

Yeh I see, it was really weird. It's apparent that she is here to make firends.

As you know, I've expanded Salman Khan's page, and there is much work to do, and I will. I've expanded Kajol's page, but it's still short, considering the fact that she is the most successful actress of the 90s (along with Madhuri Dixit, whose page is also disaster. Almost all her films are either super hits ot blockbusters; the audience adores her)..

Cleaned-up Ajay Devgan's and Saif Ali Khan's articles yesterday. I've been working today on Rekha's article, adding refs and some info. And added some info to Preity.

My plans are: Still going on Salman, Kajol, Rekha, Manisha. Starting on Madhuri, the great Urmila (she is just an icon) and Akshay Kumar etc. Oh, and of course creating articles for all of their films in the days coming. Also want to create the article for Godfrey Fillips National Bravery Awards (remember? Preity won one for her guts to testify against the mafia). Every year people get awards there for their courage. Someone fought a lion to rescue a child!!!! Some old woman also did something. That's amazing...

Good plans no? ShahidTalk2me 21:39, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeh exactly. Why did you move my message?
The bravery awards are just amazing. It's an annual ceremoby, every year given to someone. Preity won for testifying against the mafia. See what she says about others and what other people won for: "Meeting a 17-year-old girl, who has saved 10 men from drowning, or a woman, who wrestled with a leopard to save a little boy, makes you feel humble; I don’t want the spotlight. I want their bravery to have a voice."
Leopard!!!! It's unvelievable! As you say, R.E.S.P.E.C.T. Preity is the only Bollywood actor to win the award. ShahidTalk2me 21:50, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Films November 2007 Newsletter

The November 2007 issue of the Films WikiProject newsletter has been published. You may read the newsletter, change the format in which future issues will be delivered to you, or unsubscribe from this notification by following the link. Thank you.

Yes well, I was disappointed the new task force wasn't mentioned in the November newsletter, and have just left a note with Nehrams about that. I honestly didn't think I needed to suggest that it be included. Perhaps my expectations of the coordinator/editors are too high. As far as spamming other users, begging them to join the project, I have mixed feelings about that. I figure, if they really care about the cinema of a certain country or region, then they will join. Or maybe they won't. Maybe they'll continue to make solid contributions about the region's films without being a member of the project, then they are still helping the project. Anyway, I see the project as more of an administrative tool, just to get a better handle on the level of quality articles on the region's films. Hopefully, long after I've done my final edit on Wikipedia, the project will still be around, keeping track of things. — WiseKwai 08:14, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thunderball etc.

I've cleaned up most of it. But more use of the DVD is needed. Do you have it? Vikrant Phadkay 13:21, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Saw the THUN promo pic. 5 in 1 is just excellent. Vikrant Phadkay 13:55, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
but rather than this film's making DVD, I would prioritise GoldenEye, as nothing but production is left to expand in it. Vikrant Phadkay 13:55, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Not much of a difference, see I placed it. Vikrant Phadkay 14:03, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use Image:SantaClaus'reindeer.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:SantaClaus'reindeer.gif. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use media which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. –Dream out loud (talk) 09:09, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Images

I figured it out the other day, by looking at the fair use of a Juan Peron picture. I've uploaded images for Argentine international footballers up to G so far, keeping a list of ones that I couldn't find. I've recently taken to emailing club websites, who have usually been quite helpful in providing stats, I'll see if they have any pictures they wouldn't mind donating once I've gone through all the footballers, I'm still working to fill up {{seasons in Argentine football}}, pretty hard work for a 2 finger typer like me and the transfer window is going to open soon, unleashing a month of chaos, I set up WP:ArF to try and organise the process a bit, but most people seem to have lost interest over the months. I just noticed your question about the patronising purple box, I took it off because visitors to your page would have to be dead not to see that it's not 100% serious. Regards, King of the NorthEast 20:02, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah..

No probs. I'll add it now? I feel so much better creating new articles. Expanding the encyclopedia, giving credit to those directors and actors who worked on this film. I'm really impressed with your quick way to add the rationale. It ia very well written and explained. How do you get it so fast? Where do you get this format from? Regards, ShahidTalk2me 22:08, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WOW You have created this template!!!!!! Man you rock. You are really the best. Great. But could you please delete this image? I have a better one with higher resolution. Regards, ShahidTalk2me 22:16, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Tell me please, can this image be used on Rekha's page? ShahidTalk2me 22:51, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oops sorry I thought that because it's an old image that's why we can use it. Sorry for being so stupid, but how can I speedy delete the other image? What is the right template? There are so many... ShahidTalk2me 22:59, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh I love guitars! I love their look, form, shape, sound etc. I like bass guitars, especially in ballads, but I mostly enjoy listening to the spanish guitar. Wow, that's just hair raising. I had once a good collection of spanish guitar numbers, only instrumental. It was just amazing!!! Every number tells an entire story through the guitar score. Just great... Regards, ShahidTalk2me 10:32, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh I love it too. Have you heard "Still Got the Blues" of Gary Moore? WOW! This guitar there tears you apart! Just amazing! I'm now working on Kajol's page. Trying to expand it. Regards, ShahidTalk2me 10:52, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly, full of soul! That's the most precise way to name it! Of course, it's full of humour, imaages and fun. Though your user page is huge and it takes ages to load the page... LOL just kidding! ;) Regards, ShahidTalk2me 11:00, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Don't worry, I'm planning to create many articles today... ShahidTalk2me 11:02, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
He he he, porsupuesto que te entiendo... Eso es espectacular, Adios, ShahidTalk2me 11:30, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Very well done friend. Good work!!! I've completed my work on the Kajol page, what do you think about it? Now I'll create some film. Regard, ShahidTalk2me 13:10, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
When I am creating articles, I'm adding all the necessary aspects, so there is no need for further expansion. I'll now create Bombai Ka Babu. Regards, ShahidTalk2me 13:19, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
What? You are doing great work!!! It doesn't really matter. Babu or Baboo... All the same. ShahidTalk2me 13:27, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
But we have already list of missing films don't we? I think we can easily follow the red links in different filmographies and clean them up. ShahidTalk2me 13:36, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes it is! But your work is great! Oh yeh I'm yet to create Raju Chacha. I'll do it later today. I'm now watching a film. ShahidTalk2me 17:22, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Why? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shshshsh (talkcontribs) 22:02, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
What?... Does it have some relation to the bottom of your talk page? ShahidTalk2me 22:08, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
LOL what's wrong with her? She's strange? And why does she show you her picture? And asks for your age? LOL I think she looks for a new boyfriend.. :) That's weird and funny! But why are you scared?:) ShahidTalk2me 22:20, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mining in South Africa

Thanks - It was a good pick for the list, and I too was surprised it hadn't been written yet. I wanted to work on a redlink rather than an existing article, and it seemed like a good fit. I'm still planning on expanding it some more, particularly tomorrow if the strike happens - I might even see if I can get it mentioned on the "In the news" section of the main page. Deforestation in Brazil

Well, why didn't you self-nominate Deforestation in Brazil for DYK? It looks like a good article, that I would have liked to see on DYK. The bot didn't pick up the article because it was first created as a redirect. In the future, please nominate your new articles (provided they meet the requirements). You've done great work, and it would be excellent to see it featured on the Main Page. :) Nishkid64 (talk) 20:28, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I think we can get it. Do you have an idea for a hook? Nishkid64 (talk) 20:33, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Write it down at [1]. I'll look at it and place it on T:DYK/N. Nishkid64 (talk) 20:35, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I don't think it would hurt to have the article still featured on DYK. The hook you proposed seems pretty well-known, so do you have any other suggestions? Anything unusual or intriguing? Nishkid64 (talk) 20:38, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Blo, you Wiki Superstar: Since I'm now a member of the Film Project, I noticed that user Mallanox is no longer around, well at least for a month. He was an admin, no? Sir

As always your user and talk page leave me flabbbergasted - I am in the middle of an almost 6 month hiatus - I will notify the approrpriate authorities - however it appears that anhtropology as a profession has gone silent in australian affairs - it is an issue of concern that I find totaly mystifying - I have no idea what they are up to collectively - or individually - either brought out, sold out or dying as a breed - not sure which - cheers- have a very safe christmas SatuSuro 22:20, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Being a circumspect oz Who has just been culture shocked by returning to australia from three days in singapore - but thats a very long story - I am indeed impressed and heartened by your sheer bravado visually and your lack of what might be considered the conservative nature of the average wikipedian - it is a positive response if you havent got my drift - long may your style and its attendant visual impact continue on our stage of unreality (ie wikipedia) - says me with the equivalent of one sunflower to boot :) SatuSuro 22:26, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Coaches Comment

Thanks for reviewing the stub articles of Southwestern College Moundbuilders football coaches. I am working with the College Football Project in Wikipedia with the small college efforts to build articles around coaches and programs for small colleges.

The idea is to get them started with simple stubs, and as college football fans across Wikipedia from different schools build their coaches pages, we can coordinate more easily. Some small college coaches do go on to become major college coaches (for example Dennis Franchione). Plus, we want to be sure to have historical records from the "golden age" of college football.

You're right, though. We should have more than just the records (and plan to) as collaboration builds.--Paul McDonald 18:18, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Baywatch.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Baywatch.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Llorcs (talk) 07:38, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Absolutely right. The encyclopedia is very good but still doesn't meet the quality all the articles deserve. The difference between Wikipedia and the Britanica is that Wikipedia has more articles, while Britanica has less articles, (but) all of which are even in better quality than Wikipedia's FAs. I don't have much of a life but I work allot, I don't even have time for friends, the only person I know (literally) out of my family is my boyfriend and from the computer some others than you and I don't even really know you or the others too well.... My life is extremely stressful and buisy with doctor appointments and writing.... I have panic attacks sometimes once a month and they take allot out of me plus more.... I know that my personal life isn't an excuse but that's what I have, So I'm sorry if I don't fit the expectations of this but I'm trying to do something to help me stretch and have fun, the only fun I really even have in my life.... Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:LeoMadder.jpg.

Thank you. – Quadell (talk) (random) 23:35, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

George Bogle, hello, and all the news that's fit to print from Cooktown

Hi Ernst! Sorry I haven't replied earlier. Things have been hectic around here and very, very hot. We are a bit inland and in the forest so our temps are usually a couple of degrees cooler than Cooktown itself which has had 4 days straight of 40 degress and over (a definite record since they started keeping count here back in the 1870s) - but we have also had three days over 37 - our previous record (and one day it went up to 39.4 in the house) and at times it has been muggy as well (which means - seeing as we don't have airconditioning - that I drip all over my computer and so have to turn it off by mid-morning at the latest).

I was going to write a few letters last night but then the termites started swarming - so I had to turn off all the inside lights and just leave one on outdoors to attract them there. Oh, the trials of living in the bush!!! But all is well here otherwise. We have been trying to get a young pet wallaby accustomed to the bush (it was hand-reared by a friend of ours who rescued her after her mother was killed by a car), and it seems to be going well - she is just coming in each morning now for some milk and sweet potato and lots of TLC. She is so beautiful and cute - but she will be much better off running with the wild wallabies on our property than with us.

No word back from the publishers about my book recently - I am beginning to get annoyed they are taking so long to make decisions (will it be 2 vols or 3? What size pages? etc., etc., etc.) It seems to be taking forever. I have had a read of your excellent and timely Deforestation in Brazil aricle. Great work!!! Are you working on any other articles with a environmental slant? I have just added in the words "carbon dioxide" for those (maybe schoolkids???) who may not know what CO2 is. It was the only thing I could think of to improve it - it is truly a fine article! Great work, mate!

We are all excited here with our new government which is just off to the international conference on climate change and emmissions in Bali with our new PM, Rudd, the new Treasurer, new Minister for Climate Change and Water, Penny Wong (a brilliant Malaysian-born lesbian Chinese woman - our first Minister who is openly gay and, moreover, is a female and Asian as well which gives me some faint hope now for the future of this country!, plus our new minister for the environment, Peter Garrett (an ex-rock star - the lead of Midnight Oil). They have already signed up to the Kyoto protocol (meaning the U.S. now stands totally alone in not signing it) as their first act of government! Our last PM - Howard - the self-proclaimed "Deputy Sheriff" to Bush and climate change denier even lost his own seat, which he had held for 33 consecutive years - and to a woman he detests! I must say I have taken some comfort from this ;^)

So, greetings from me (and thanks for your continuing fine efforts on the Wikipedia. Hope all is well with you. Cheers, John Hill (talk) 00:10, 6 December 2007 (UTC) PS where are you living now - in Argentina- or where?[reply]

I hate to admit that I've never watched any of the Aces Go Places films. I love that old HK stuff. Just watched Exiled, and it's a blast back to that era. Dang I could have sworn I did a South Africa icon back in that last run. Been pretty busy lately with the SEA film and film fest task forces, and real-life stuff. Give me another shout about those icons sometime - just not right now. — WiseKwai 19:57, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey thanks! Yeh, I'm planning to create some article with a DYK question, I'll do it later.
As for films, you can do nothing with that. Most of the users create articles for only films they like which they think are great. Only brilliant editors like you worry for removing red links, and create articles of films which they haven't even seen. But don't worry, with the awareness of Wikipedia on the net, the work doesn't stop.
User:Fowler&fowler removed the Godfrey National Bravery Awards from {{Indian honours and decorations}}, claiming it's not national, but private. But the fact is that some of the most prominent figures of India's government take part in it. See the message I wrote to him. Regards, ShahidTalk2me 18:52, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well he says that it's not official; he says it's a private award and not an official ceremony by the govt. of India. See my discussion with him on his talk page. It's a pitty that the freat Rohini Hattangadi wasn't nominated for her sterling performance. She's a great actress. I will later clean-up her article. What do you think, will Tabbu win an Oscar for her performance in The Namesake (film)? She will be nominated, that's for sure, but what do you think will she win? She deserved it. She won two National Film Awards, which is the most difficult and prestigious award to win in India!!! (though Filmfare Awards is the most prestigious award in Bollywood, the National Film Award are the most difficult awards the win, given by the govt. of India, judged by a pannel of distinguished jury members, and it awards not only Bollywood films but every possible Indian movie in every possible language. It's a very very difficult award to win, believe me, even more than Oscar.) ShahidTalk2me 15:26, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I stumbled across an article you created with the {{Placeunderconstruction}} tag on the 15th of September, 2007, a one-line article about a place in Tibet. Looking at your contribution history, it seems that you created a very, very large number of articles in that time frame, all with those tags. Can you remove those tags from the articles, or recruit a bot to do so in one of your wikiprojects? I was going to do it myself, but the sheer volume of them is overwhelming. It doesn't look like you are making any further contributions to those articles at the present time. Cruzin07 (talk) 05:35, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New film project

Hi, Blofeld. Thought you'd like to know I've just started a Wikipedia:WikiProject Korea/Film. Hopefully it'll help improve the category & articles. I've also added all the Category:South Korean films to the List of South Korean films. As I suspected, the articles lean far to the current films, ignoring many important older films. I'm red-linking some at the list and will start the articles when time permits. Cheers! Dekkappai (talk) 20:00, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I missed your note earlier, Blofeld-- Ah... Shagging is what you had in mind! Sorry for being so dense. If you're scheming to get some sort of POV-violation out me, tough luck! Looks a bit on the bony side though... ;) Ahem. About renaming the Korea film project: However you think most appropriate or standard with relation to the other projects is fine with me. I wonder if a North-east Asian film project might be too broad, as editors have their own countries of interest... Though, I suppose we could specialize within the umbrella project... So I don't know... I'll try to fill in those earlier red-linked films, and eventually we should have a pretty good spread, throughout the years, on Korean film. At present it's all late-1990s and 2000s though. Dekkappai (talk) 23:28, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A task force encompassing all of East Asian cinema would be huge. Japan and Korea have big enough industries to be task forces unto themselves. Whether there are enough editors to support them is the question. Myself, I'm task forced out, with film festivals and SE Asia. I've noticed that all Chinese-language films - be they from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan or elsewhere - are being added to the Chinese film task force. This is something that might make editors of articles on Taiwanese and Hong Kong films a bit queasy. — WiseKwai 09:51, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Right, I think we're all pretty much in agreement that the proposed East Asia task force would be too broad. I don't think having the separate national cinema task forces prevents us in any way from seeing that there's a general conformity as far as format & style though... And this applies to articles on all of cinema, not just East Asia. About Kim Jong-il, though, Blofeld-- actually, he's known as an extreme film-fan. He dabbled in film-making and film-theory earlier in his life, and he even went to the rather extreme measure of having prominent South Korean film-makers kidnapped to produce quality films for the North! It's too bad there's so little information available on the cinema of the North, it would be very interesting to find out what's going on there... Dekkappai (talk) 17:32, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Great work on the Korean cinema project, Blofeld! I'll work on the details later when I get the chance. You want me to add more red-link films to the earlier years, is that right? Rather than IMDB, I think Koreafilm.org might be a better place to start for that, since they pick out the more important films for each year. Once we get a good foundation of the important films, we can add the rest. My thought anyway. Dekkappai (talk) 17:42, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
About adding the transliteration of the Korean titles, as in South Korean films of 1975-- I really don't think either the transliteration or the original Korean are necessary in these lists, since they will be provided in the film articles when they are started. The possibility of confusing which film (because of different translations) will be solved by adding the director and one or two cast members in the listing. Dekkappai (talk) 18:45, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Great image of Altan Khan! Thanks so much - it really makes the article! I have just added a couple of short notes to the article on the Buryats which may clear up a bit about their origins and rapid expansion. Sorry, no time to do anymore at the moment (will try to get back to it again sometime - but I have a long list of other edits to do) - and now I must be off to town for Xmas shopping and mailing! And it is HOT today again! (Oh, by the way, it does seem strange at first having Christmas when it is hot - but you do adjust and slow down and usually just spend the day eating too many prawns and cold meats and drinking too much with your friend or family. It's a quite different experience - but lazy and relaxing. I send you my very best wishes, my friend. Have a great time - and I look forward to keeping in touch through the New Year. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:MauricioBorensztein.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:MauricioBorensztein.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Angr If you've written a quality article... 20:08, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's cool, but the image still needs more source information than "www.cinenacional.com" in order for its status as PD-Argentina to be verifiable. How do we know it was published before 1986? —Angr If you've written a quality article... 20:17, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I just stumbled across it anyway. And I'm here to ask you (in a nice way, of course) to tag it with {{db-author}}, because I suspect you have no use for it anymore. I would tag it for deletion myself, but I thought this was more polite. Oh, and I like your cat. -- Pepve (talk) 22:17, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image source problem with Image:Heinrich von Vietinghoff.jpg

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Heinrich von Vietinghoff.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 18:00, 15 December 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. 88.134.141.133 (talk) 18:00, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, I'm not a GA reviewer, so I can't really address the status of the article directly. As soon as I finish tagging for the new Brunei, Laos, and Thailand groups, or Monday, whichever comes first, I'm going to review the article and go over the phrasing to try to remove any unusual sentence structures, and then when I'm done nominate it for GA. I think probably the only drawback right now might still be some unusual phrasing, but that was a big drawback earlier, and I want to ensure that it doesn't come up to bite us again.; I'm going to address that matter when I finish the new groups, or Monday, whichever comes first. Heya

Hey Blof! Im soooooooo sorry I didn't reply to your message, I wanted to do some quick editing and then I had to jet off somewhere. Of course I loved the baby sheep! I loved the fact that the image was captured just as the sheep is about to leap or skip or whatever a sheep does. This is so wierd but my star sign is an Aries and the image is of the sheep of which the male equivalent is the ram which co-incides with my star sign! HA! I dunno why that is of any significance but it seemed essential that I get that out of my system! So tell me what you have been up to? Any new developments? Hope Mr. Bigglesworth is doing well. Kind regards. -- Pa7 13:28, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I actually had a look at the work on the film pages. I great effort by you I must say! I'll try and fill in the gaps ASAP, I know I keep saying that, but I'll promise I'll get it done even if it takes me till next year (which I think it will). Im on holiday right now but I've still got loads of work from university. I'll get it done, hopefully! Great to hear from you too -- Pa7 13:45, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, it should get done. There's so many films to put in for Indian cinema, that it gets quite tiresome. It will get done, Im determined to get it done! -- Pa7 13:48, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, 1974 is nearly done. Im gonna get started ASAP. Also I might work backwards from there. Im not really worried about the 2000 films cause everybody nearly contributes for those films. I might go back to the 50s or 60s, cause I think fewer films were produced then so it would be easier to get it done. -- Pa7 13:52, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah definently, I think by laying the basic structure then people can get filling. I honestly dunno much about the golden oldies so there might someone who does that can fill some bits in, luckily IMDB helps! -- Pa7 13:54, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

-- Pa7 14:01, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

SILLY ME!! There are not that many films in the 1930s, what's the point in seperating! Nevertheless, added two films produced in 1930. -- Pa7 14:07, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
