Rhytida citrina is a species of medium-sized, air-breathing predatory land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusc in the eponymous family Rhytididae.

Distribution

This snail is endemic to the western part of the South Island of New Zealand.

Shell description

The shell is rather closely coiled and always of yellowish-olive colour, hence the name citrina, meaning lemon yellow.

The shell diameter is up to 22 mm, and the height is up to 12 mm.
