BIOGRAPHY

Dubravko Merlić is a Croatian journalist, producer and author, winner of the world-renowned Rose d'Or.

Before his current position as the CEO of Castor Multimedia, where he is also the main author of formats, he worked as a reporter, editor and as the anchor of prestigious current affairs shows on Croatian Television; for a while he also worked as the chief editor of the News and Current Events Programming at Croatian Television.

He has received numerous professional awards in recognition of this work as a reporter and editor.

In 2003 he founded the independent production company Castor Multimedia, whose main aim is the creation of original multimedia content, with special emphasis on the development of tv-formats.

In the wake of the exceptional success of Castor’s TV-format in the region, “The Pyramid” was recognised with the “Rose d'Or” award for the best show in 2007. “The Pyramid” was broadcast in 8 countries. Currently Castor Multimedia is one of the most creative independent production companies in the region, and its original formats (“The Pyramid”, “State of the Nation”, “Travel Bug”...) are being broadcast by the most prominent television stations.
