Geo Meneses

Georgina Meneses best known as GEO Meneses (born in the city of Oaxaca, México in 1974) is a leading producer and singer of traditional music and world music genre.

Georgina Meneses was born in Oaxaca City, the daughter of Linda Meneses and Eulogio Garcia, from a very early showed an aptitude for music especially for singing at the age of 10 he began his musical education studying piano and later decided to devote professional singing. Sounds legitimate heir to the Mexican, has a voice that mingles the deep blackness of Cesaria Evora and the whiteness of a complex Toni Childs, but converge in the same song a gentle drowning Edith Piaf to the fierce autonomy of a Lucha Reyes for what is considered one of the greatest exponents of Mexican music.
