They don't perform sufficient fact-checking. Other examples of [[WP:UGC|user-generated content]] include blogs, discussion forums, comment sections of websites, and even Wikipedia itself. All these are insufficient as references. In this case a reference wasn't required for the film's plot. A film that has been released may be used as an implied reference for uncontroversial details like plot and cast. |

This note is here for a reason. The film has not been released, so unlike the situation above, we cannot rely on the film as a reference. This note is here to instruct editors such as yourself not to add unsourced content to the section, which you did by adding "[[Russell Geoffrey Banks]] as jim". This needs to be sourced. (And Jim should have been capitalized.) If the note was unclear, feel free to let me know how to make it clearer. |
