Good day, once I was a young boy of 15 who had nothing better to do with his time than to edit wikipedia, though not a native speaker of English, I always enjoyed writing in English (and in general) and considered working on wikipedia as both English lessons and a fun activity. Around 2010 I left wikipedia to pursue love, drugs, friendships, and other social life stuff that one does when he is in the prime of his youth. But when I returned a couple of months ago I saw that many people had left me barnstars and compliments etcetera and I was flattered, wikipedia is a wonderful place with wonderful users. So I'm now semi-active, cleaning up pages here and there and working to get a FA or a GA here and there, whenever study and other social factors allow me. If you took the time to read this, let me reward you with a compliment, you look marvelous today, did you do something different with your hair? Whatever it is, keep it up, you stud!
Stuff I was working on prior to retiring can be found here, here, here, and here.
P.S.: I mostly work on TV show-related articles, yet I've studied history and now study political sciences, so I have quite some expertise on those topics as well.
Yes, it finally happened, on October 7, 2008 I received my first my first barnstar, and the same day I received another one (double yes). I received another one in November 2008, by someone who was "amazed by my work", dude... that's like the biggest complimente I've ever gained for my wikipedia edits. Below are the barnstars I've received, since I've been on wikipedia.
The Barnstar of Good Humor

The Original Barnstar
For your recent Good Article frenzy! It's good to see your hard work and dedication, and who knows, maybe one day you'll get one up to Featured Article status! Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 11:47, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
The Original Barnstar
After not editing for weeks, I went to the James Wilson (House) article and I was amazed by how much it had changed! I went to the history section to see who could have made these fine contributions and it was you! As a fellow House lover, I say "Keep up the good work!" мirаgeinred سَراب ٭ (talk) 17:25, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

Too often great editors like you are overlooked and not given the credit deserved for all their great contributions. So I am awarding you this barnstar to let you know I greatly appreciate all you do for Wikipedia, and please keep up the outstanding work!!CTJF83chat 03:18, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

Featured Pictures
I'm not much of a Featured Picture freak on Wikipedia, but when I see a potential Featured Picture, I usually nominate it. I never took a Featured Picture myself, but I hope to one day.
