Superettan is the second-tier league of professional basketball in Sweden. The league was established in 2017 and replaced the Basketettan as second tier level. Köping Stars was the inaugural champion. The winners of the Superettan are promoted to the Basketligan. Contrary to some other leagues, no play-offs are played and the winner of the regular season is crowned the Superettan champion.
