Pakhanpura is a village situated in Varachakwar Block in Ghazipur District of Uttar Pradesh, India. The village lies 29km East of Ghazipur, 18km from Varachakwarand, and 373 KM from the State capital Lucknow. The village has one post office situated at Yusufpur Bazar, and a Union Bank of India, with an ATM facility. The population of the village is approximately 20,000 people and it is dominated by Muslims (Mainly Shaiks), and having other religious persons with 10 Mauza, having 5 Mosques, One Eidgah, 5 Mazar-e-sharif, and Three temples.

Most of the indigenes are in the disciplinary forces. It has one Mardasa, 4 convent schools, and other social amenities available for its indigenes.

This village is very famous for its agriculture. Most village streets are interlocked with just a few streets left to be interlocked.

One of India's largest expressways, the Purvanchal Expressway, will be terminated here in Haidaria Mauja.

In the Kargil war, 10 persons participated from the village. Shaheed Ishtique Khan died on 3 July 1999 at tiger hill Kargil.
