Piece of my Heart is a song by Nigerian singer and songwriter Wizkid featuring vocals from American singer Brent Faiyaz.[1][2] It was released on 18 October 2024 by RCA as the lead single from Wizkid's forthcoming studio album Morayo.[3][4] The song samples Wu-Tang Clan's 1994 single 'Can It Be All So Simple'.[3]

Background

In 2022, Wizkid released his sixth studio album More Love, Less Ego following the success of his previous album Made in Lagos.[2][5] A year later Wizkid released his sophomore EP Soundman Vol. 2 before taking a hiatus from releasing his own songs and appearing only as a featured artist. In September 2024, Wizkid released a snippet of the song via Instagram and revealed it as the lead single from his forthcoming album Morayo.[1] Shortly after, a listening party was held in London to promote the single and the official release date was announced.[6]
