Per MOS:ACCESS#Font size and MOS:SMALLFONT, "avoid using smaller font sizes in elements that already use a smaller font size, such as infoboxes, navboxes and reference sections". Since this template's text is already reduced to 90% of the normal size, use of the {{Small}} template or <small>...</small> tags within this template produces a font size that is 77% of the page default, well below the 85% minimum specified in the linked guidelines.

Optional. Set to y to collapse table in output. Defaults to n.
align
Optional. Allows the table to be left-, centre-, or right-aligned on the page. Parameter values are left, center (note spelling) and right. Default is right for backwards compatibility with existing usage of template.

Required. Home or first named team
homeBorder
Optional. Border colour for the cell containing the home team name. Valid values are hex triplet (e.g. Australian gold is #FFCC33) or HTML colour names (e.g. red) or none. Default value is none.
homeBGcolour
Optional. Background colour for the cell containing the home team name. Default value is white.
homeFGcolour
Optional. Foreground (i.e. text) colour for the cell containing the home team name. Default value is black.

Optional. Specify size of largest squad to be shown, including interchange players. Defaults to 18 if not otherwise stated. For example for use where no concussion subs are used i.e. just four interchange players then set squadsize to 17. Maximum squad size is 26.
location
Optional. Allows for the different position names used in the northern and southern hemispheres i.e. stand off / five eighth; scrum half / half back; loose forward / lock forward. Parameter values accepted are n (for northern hemisphere names), s (for southern hemisphere names), ns (both names but northern first) and sn (both names but southern first).
abbr
Optional. Allows for the abbreviated position names to be used in conjunction with location above. Set to y to use, defaults to n.

Optional. Name of home coach
homeFB
Required. Name of starting fullback.
homeFBnum
Optional. All parameters ending num are optional. These parameters allow the template to support squad numbering e.g. as used in Super League. Omitting these values defaults to positional numbering e.g. 1= Fullback, 2=Centre etc as used in the NRL.
If a player does not have a shirt number e.g. a trialist or short-term loan signing, enter the player number as 00 (double zero).
