Enzo Zidane Fernandez (born March 24, 1995 in Bordeaux) is a Spanish football player who currently plays as a midfielder for Real Madrid Juvenil C. He is the son of the French football superstar Zinedine Zidane and a Spanish under-17 international. He is named after Uruguay player Enzo Francescoli.[1]

Club career

Since 2004, Zidane has played for the youth academy of Real Madrid. On September 6 2011, Zidane was invited by José Mourinho to train with the club's first team.[2]

International career

Zidane has represented Spain at several youth levels, including under-17. He is also eligible to play for France. In 2010, Zinedine stated that he is relaxed about whether his son chooses to play for Spain or France at senior international level.[3][4][1]
