Lanwa Redbull (Chinese: 聯華紅牛), officially Dongguan Lanwa Football Club[1] (simplified Chinese: 联华足球俱乐部; traditional Chinese: 聯華足球俱樂部) is a Chinese professional football club located in Dongguan, China. The club was founded on 15 June 2005[2] and currently plays in Hong Kong First Division League.
History
Lanwa's forerunner, Gansu Tianma (Chinese: 甘肃天马), was formed in 1999 and played in the Chinese system. Following its relegation from the Yi League (Chinese Third Division), it was bought by Dongguan Dongcheng who renamed the club to its current name and moved it to the Hong Kong pyramid.
