Investigations Police of Chile (Spanish: Policia de Investigaciones de Chile, PDI) is the civil police of Chile. Founded in 1933, it is one of two Chilean police bodies, along with Carabineros de Chile.[1] The PDI is the first collaborator of the Public Ministry of Chile in criminal Investigation.
History
But back in 1864 where the genesis of the PDI, as the Commander Manuel Chacon creates Commissioners Guards originating from Section of Investigations, which they not to use uniforms to walk unnoticed between people, property still remains in the current detectives .
