Welcome!

Hi Tallyho70, and a warm welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you have enjoyed editing as much as I did so far and decide to stay. Unfamiliar with the features and workings of Wikipedia? Don't fret! Be Bold! Here's some good links for your reference and that'll get you started in no time!

Most Wikipedians would prefer to just work on articles of their own interest. But if you have some free time to spare, here are some open tasks that you may want to help out :

 • RC Patrol - Keeping a lookout for vandalism.
 • Cleanup - Help make unreadable articles readable.
 • Requests - Wanted on WP, but hasn't been created.
 • Merge - Combining duplicate articles into one.
 • Wikiprojects - So many to join, so many to choose from...Take your pick!

Oh yes, don't forget to sign when you write on talk pages, simply type four tildes, like this: ~~~~. This will automatically add your name and the time after your comments. And finally, if you have any questions or doubts, don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page. Once again, welcome! =)

UMCP Alumni

The list is getting a touch long. Perhaps you should move it to a new page. -Howardjp 13:26, 15 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Use of American

I've noticed that you've created a number of articles related to hockey players from the United States. The link American points to a disambiguation page that has a number of uses of the term American. If your intent is to link to a person from the United States it is better to link to American. Thanks!--Bobblehead 18:20, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit to Lara Logan

The topic of your edit here is being discussed on the talk page and at WP:BLPN. Barring additional unimpeachable sourcing, the info violates WP:BLP and will not be included -certainly not without consensus to do so. Please do not add it again or you may be blocked. Thanks, R. Baley (talk) 22:22, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

Hello Tallyho70! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 4 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 332 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the unreferencedBLP tag. Here is the list:

 1. Greg Mullavy - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
 2. Jakub Čutta - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to WJLA-TV may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
 • *Mike Hambrick - news anchor (1992-1997; now heard on Howard 100 and [[Howard 100 and Howard 101|
