March is Women's History Month and to celebrate, Fembot, in collaboration with Ms., Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, and the University of Oregon’s Center for the Study of Women in Society, will be hosting a Wikipedia edit-a-thon at the Ms. Foundation for Women on Friday, March 6, 2015. Remote participants are also welcome.
Participants are also invited to join the Ms. Fembot Hack-a-thon on March 7.

Event details
As a part of WikiWomen's History Month, this event is one of many around the world that aims to engage more women to edit Wikipedia, and to improve coverage about women's history on Wikipedia. This event will be facilitated by User:SarahStierch.
- Date: Friday, March 6, 2015
- Time: 10 AM Pacific time (6 PM UTC)
- Venue: Ms. Foundation for Women
- Cost: Free, of course!
- Twitter hashtag: #fembotwiki and/or #wikiwomen
- Participants: This event is open to anyone interested in improving women's history coverage on Wikipedia. No wiki editing experience is necessary, support will be on hand to help you out! Female editors are specifically encouraged to attend. Can't be there the whole time? No problem, join us as long or as little as you can.
- Details: Participants should bring their own laptop and power cords. Light food and drinks will be provided.
