The Philippines first participated at the Youth Olympic Games at the inaugural 2010 Games. Philippines have participated in every edition of Summer Youth Olympics and one Winter Youth Olympics, the 2012 Games.[1]

2014 Summer Youth Olympics
The Philippines competed in the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China for the second edition of Youth Olympics. The country sent 7 athletes in 6 sports. The country brought a gold medal from Luis Gabriel Moreno in Archery in the Mixed Team Category together with Li Jiaman. The gold medal was credited to mixed-NOCs rather than to Philippines. [3]
