Chang'an District (simplified Chinese: 长安区; traditional Chinese: 長安區; pinyin: Cháng'ān Qū) is one of eight districts of the prefecture-level city of Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei Province, North China, located in the northeast of the urban core of the city. The area is 110.24 km2 (42.56 sq mi). There are 426,500 residents, among which 109,700 residents are farmers.[1] The leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in China, North China Pharmaceutical Group Corp (NCPC) located in Chang'an District, Shijiazhang.
Hebei Airlines has its corporate headquarters in the Shijiazhuang World Trade Plaza Hotel (石家庄世贸广场酒店; 石家莊世貿廣場酒店; Shíjiāzhuāng Shìmào Guǎngchǎng Jiǔdiàn) in Chang'an District.[2][3][4]

2010年第六次人口普查，长安区常住总人口479801人，其中：建北街道35914人，青园街道31859人，广安街道40249人，育才街道39217人，跃进街道37827人，河东街道56962人，长丰街道47531人，谈固街道72039人，西兆通镇45711人，南村镇38608人，高营镇33884人。 2014年9月9日，国务院（国函[2014]122号）批复同意将原桥东区的中山东路、阜康、建安、胜北4个街道和桃园镇划归长安区管辖。
