Choosoddaam Randi (English: Come, Let's See) is a 2000 Telugu drama film, written and directed by Raja Vannem Reddy, and produced by Sunkara Madhu Murali. The film Stars Jagapati Babu, Srikanth, and Rambha in pivotal roles.[1][2] The soundtrack is composed by M. M. Keeravani. The film is a remake of the Tamil film Thai Poranthachu (2000).[3] [4]
Plot
Bhimavaram Buchchi Babu / Babu (Srikanth) & Anji (Sudhakar) works as house-brokers and make money using their glib talk. Once, a beautiful girl Geeta (Rambha), contacts them when Buchchi Babu cleverly rents a portion of his house owned by a dangerous goon Tiger Dharma (Ponnambalam). Actually, the propose of Geeta's arrival is to search her lover Aravind (Jagapati Babu), after a lot of struggle she finds him when he asks her some time to convince his parents, so, Geeta stays back in Buchchi Babu's house. Meanwhile, Dharma releases, who funnily vows that not to molest a married woman. To protect Geeta from him, Buchchi Babu claims her as his wife which leads to a series of lies to keep up the deception. Here Anji asks Buchchi Babu why he is taking this much risk for money, then he replies for the sake of his niece and starts narrating his past. In his childhood, he used to stay along with his sister Parvati (Siva Parvati) where his brother-in-law Kotaiah (Kota Srinivasa Rao) looks him down. But Buchchi Babu loves his niece a lot and promises to shield her throughout life. Unfortunately, he sentenced for a crime which he has not committed that’s why he is earning money in maximum possible ways to keep his niece happy. Surprisingly, Buchchi Babu recognizes Geeta is none other than his niece who has run away from her house as her father wants to perform her marriage with her maternal uncle to enjoy the property. Now Buchchi Babu decides to unite Geeta & Aravind without revealing his identity. But to his misfortune, Dharma spots Geeta with Aravind and the hell breaks, so, he necks out Buchchi Babu even Geeta too hates him. After some time, Dharma tries to molest Geeta when Buchchi Babu recuses her when she understands his virtue and again accommodates in his house. Thereafter, so many hurdles stand for Geeta & Aravind's marriage, after making so many sacrifices Buchchi Babu convinces both the families. During the time of the wedding, Aravind retorts against Buchchi Babu, accuses Geeta as a slut which makes Anji break out the truth. At that point in time, Geeta realizes the righteousness of his uncle and loathes Aravind. At last, it is revealed that Aravind has intentionally done the deed by learning Buchchi Babu's past. Finally, the movie ends with a happy note with the marriage of Buchchi Babu & Geeta.
