A source has recently been added to the disputed list of vegans where Dewan admitted in 2018 to being "mostly vegan" [1]. Another recent source from 2023 describes her as "mostly vegetarian" [2]. It's obvious she was never a vegan or vegetarian. I suggest that we keep this article accurate. The PETA reference is unreliable and should be removed from the article. I appreciate you questioning outdated information on veganism; I do the same. I take objection at the phrase 'It's obvious she was a never a vegan', however. We do not know that. She may have been a 100 % vegan for a long time. We simply cannot be the judges of that as we were not there.
Also I don't like that you deleted the information about her being named sexiest vegan in a certain year by PETA. Even if she never was a vegan, or if she was a vegan in that year and then stopped being one, she was still named as such and therefore this information does not deserve to be deleted. I believe there was a RFC about PETA in the past. The consensus conclusion was that such content should be removed from biographies as PETA as an advocacy group is unreliable for content about persons. The idea of a "sexiest vegan" is stupid and has no place on Wikipedia. It is not a proper award. Psychologist Guy (talk) 23:06, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
