[edit]Hi, I wanted to let you guys know about a new interview that was just posted by Jen Lee Quick, author and artist of Off*Beat. I know it's against guidelines to edit the external links section myself, since I'm the author of the article. Anyway, the interview is very informative and I think your readers would really appreciate its content. You can find it at the following URL:

Assessment
[edit]I can't see much wrong here, beyond maybe the books section is too high and the cast section feels listified. I'm going as B, but really feel this is an A. I'm requesting more input. Definitely go to good articles and see what they say. Hiding Talk 14:41, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- I'ld rate it is a B, asit has for me too much primary info and not enough secondary info, and too much of the info is trivial (yes, Quick once said in a post the dates of births and star signs of the characters, but to add those starsigns then to the article here is really not relevant). The "reception" section seems at first glance to be based on customer reviews on Amazon, which isn't the kind of non-authoritative source we want. The article is probably about the best that one can make for a comic of rather low importance, but I'm afraid it feels to me more like a B than an A. Fram 15:04, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- I agree, there is a lack of secondary sources, but it still covers the topic fully.
"Reception" could use additional cites, though that may run the risk of sounding ad-ish. Also, flipping that and "Books" would be appropriate.
As for the character section... I don't see how a "listy" feel can be avoided, it is a list of characters. Here at least we have an article where the writer has defined and described the characters fully without trying to make a case for satellite articles.
The article feels like an A to me, even with the polish it needs. — J Greb 16:37, 7 February 2007 (UTC) - I'd have to agree with most of the comments already made. Very clear, well referenced, not too much plot summary and plenty of background information. Personally, I'm a little wary of the volume 3 publication date - listing something as published in April 2007 seems to be tempting fate, so this might want minor rewording to take it firmly out of WP:CRYSTAL territory? It feels like borderline B/A to me - I'd go for B, but I think it really wouldn't take much to cross the line. --Mrph 17:47, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
- I think the images need Fair use rationales to get it over the line. Hiding Talk 22:06, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
