Snow Spirit Murder is a surprisingly well written murder mystery in the New Kindaichi Case Files series. I enjoy the story very much and like how the mystery is eventually solved, and the bonus short story about a dangerous criminal snaking into party hosted by a pop idol (Kindaichi's friend) is humorous and refreshing too.

Story plot of this manga really drive me to boredomness land.. Kindaichi always stumbles across mysterious murder case, where cold-blooded murderer kills his subjects one by one for vengeance, with no way out of the place. In the end Kindaichi solves the mystery after it's too late.

The reason I give it 4 stars is for the short story afterward. It's much much more enjoyable to read, with comedy touch and simplicity.
