“The name Rachel Price is almost synonymous with mystery. Because her disappearance was like a puzzle, and it’s human nature to want to solve a puzzle, don’t you think?”
'What do you think happened to your mother?'

'Don’t you need to say Action, or Rolling or something?
'Action, or rolling or something',he said with a lopsided grin
Family first. Always.
“Family first,” Bel said. Not a threat, but a promise.
Hated. Loathed. Disgusted. Appalled.
Someone explain to me wtf that was supposed to be?
NOTHING added up. NOTHING made sense. The climax is supposed to explain things, not leave me dazed and confused, rushing to get past it. And I did. I literally sped up when I got to that part because it made no fucking sense.
And it was weird. Boring, even. Nothing like Holly Jackson has previously written. Instead of leaving me with my mind blown, it left me with a throbbing headache because I had no clue as to wtf was supposed to be happening.
And the plot twist? Nope. Not only did all the not make sense with the direction the book should've gone, but the didn't make sense at ALL. Nothing matched in my opinion. Just, the way everything unfolded was undesirable as a whole.
The only time my jaw legitimately dropped was when It's not like I predicted everything else that happened. I just didn't have the connection with the book to honestly give a fuck.
The pacing: Absolutely nothing happening in the first 60% of the book! Those little 'discoveries' made in that 60%? BORING!!!!
BORING, BORING, BORING!!!
Last thing: Question,
“To the most fucked-up family in America. Cheers!”
