Take a Number is the fourth book in Amy Daws 'Wait With Me' series and I was really looking forward to this one. I loved Dean in all the other books and I couldn't wait to get to his story. I love the fake dating troupe and this one was fantastic!

Norah owns a bakery and is a successful entrepreneur. Dean is a incessive flirt and an investor in Norah's second bakery she's opening. I loved the banter between these two. Dean and Norah have such a fun relationship and when they realize that they both have pressure to date someone (Norah from her parents and Dean from his friends) it would be perfect to fake date for a while. Just follow the simple rules and all will go well...

I bet you can guess, the rules aren't followed. Norah and Dean go from fake dating, to friends with benefits, to more. Even though Dean is terrified for more. I could see why after you learn more about him. I loved both of these characters and their story had lots of laughs and lots of heart. I enjoyed this one lots!

I have been hesitating to pick up Take a Number after previous books. The blurb is not promosing something really good. I thought this book will be only so so. And I was right.

The story is nothing new. Fake relationship that turned into real feeling. The twist and turn is also similar to other fake relationship romance. I only enjoy the banter between Dean and Norah. After all Miss Daws is good with comedy.

Overall this is OK read.

AAAAAH!!
ME ENCANTÓ!!!
Estuvo bien cute. 🥰😍🥰😍

El siguiente libro de Max será single dad/nanny y you know what it mean… MUERO POR LEERLO.

My Review:

I giggled-snorted and smirked my way through this crisply written wit-fest, it was stuffed with many of my favorite things like quirky characters, clever storylines, delectably volcanic chemistry, snarky banter, and delightfully irreverent humor. Shortly after starting my perusal, the room fell away and I was sucked right into Ms. Daws’s cleverly contrived vortex of sugar, flour, and copious servings of delicious spice. I was reluctant to return to my banal life, which is sadly devoid of the main character’s ingenious baked signature creation of scrumptious croinuts. I have enjoyed imbibing in every installment of this lively series and while each could be read as a standalone, you’d be crazy to miss out on a single word this vivacious scribe has scribbled.

4 Ready To Stand In Line Stars
* * * * Spoiler Free
I love a story that has likable characters who we have had the opportunity to see before their own stories. I'm a sucker for loosely connected books. Amy Daws has written these types of books for a while now and when you start them, you have that immediate recognition of who these people are and you are all in.

Now you do not have to read the other books to have the full experience of each book. That is the beauty of them, however, they are so engaging and fun, the reading of one will make the reading of all the others a thing, like Must See TV, like back in the day.

In Take A Number, you have quote Two Opposites unquote. But in reality, not really.

Norah Donahue learned from her mother how to bake, cook, and make things tasty.
When she sold her first box of cookies that she made herself, that was it. She was a baker and knew that was what she wanted to do for her career. She went to culinary school, learned what worked and what didn't, and then started her path to finally opening her own bakery.

Norah was creative, skilled, and came up with a unique way of doing a croissant/donut that was different than the well-known Cronut. She figured it out, made it amazing, and now is in the process of owning a second bakery with the projections of starting a franchise.

Not Too Shabby! Unfortunately, Norah's mother discounts what Norah is doing with her life; she doesn't consider the bakery and business on the level she should and is only focused on getting grandchildren. This is a continual conflict they have.

Norah hasn't had any time for relationships, she doesn't want one. She has done everything 24/7 for her business and the success of it will be enough.

Dean Moser is a man who knows how to have a good time. At least he use to. His best friends, Kate and Lynsey, are partnered off and on the marriage track. He misses the times they all would go out, him looking out for them. Lately, they have been concerned about Dean and who he has been dating. The women have been young and a bit of a lightweight.

Dean didn't mind the easy, no real commitment hookups. Everyone knew what was what and it was more of a release than anything else. But lately, something has been missing.

What hasn't been missing is his morning routine of going to Norah's bakery and having his necessary croinut. He has stopped working from his hedge fund office and takes up a table instead. Yes, this ritual is as necessary as breathing for Dean because it also allows him to play/flirt with uptight Norah. He learned of Norah's plans to open another branch of her shop in Denver and decided to invest as a silent partner. This idea to become a franchise is going to be huge and anything he could do to assist Norah was something he was into.

These two go through the daily flirt and play with one little interruption from Norah's mom one day. She is hellbent on having Norah start up a relationship with an old high school kid who is back in town. Norah wants nothing to do with him. Dean sees Norah's distress and goes to talk with her. He learns there is a 40th-anniversary party and her mother is going to make her go with this guy...Dean is there, listening to how she doesn't want any relationships at all and before you know it, a deal is done.

She will be his fake date to the upcoming wedding of his friend and he will be her fake date to the family party.

Perfect should work out great. Especially since Norah will have a list of rules they must follow.

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Right.

Well from what I just shared, of course, every rule is broken. Both these terrific people end up being surprised to have feelings for each other. Both of them were good people, both had hangup brother on from their upbringing, and both had major arc growths.

The chemistry worked, Dean was so much fun and sweet. You just rooted for everyone.
This was a happy addition to this group of books and I have in my mind who I think is next...he needs a nanny...and you know where that always goes, he he.

DNF @ 51%....This is not holding my interest. I'm finding everything from the story, to the characters, to the nicknames so corny. Maybe because I was never a huge fan of Dean to begin with. I'm also finding Kate and Lynsey really annoying in this.

One can simply never go wrong picking up an Amy Daws book especially Take A Number this book is AMAZING. The way I feel head over heels for these two was insane and I regret NOTHING.

Norah knows what she wants and that’s business only, no marriage, no kids just business.

Dean knows how sour marriages can be and has decided relationships are off limits to him.

These two together are an unlikely match but they’re amazing together. Their chemistry is off the charts hot and everything just seems better when they’re together. They’re complete opposites but they just prove how opposites do in fact attract.

As always Amy packed the best kind of humour throughout this book and it’ll have you creased over in stitches. From the moment I started this beauty to the minute I finished I was hooked, everything and everything’s round me disappeared and I was merged into the world of these two characters. Amy did amazing bringing life to these characters and I’m in love.

This is the first book I’ve read in this series but now I’m wanting to read the others. The secondary characters are way too fun to miss out on too.

Take A Number is fun, swoony and sexy. It’ll have you laughing one minute and swooning so hard the next.

2.5 Unenthusiastic Stars

I normally love me some Amy Daws but this was not a winner for me. I don't mean to sound petty but I was never truly into Dean, especially after his nastiness toward Kate in the first book in this series. Yes, I know, they made up but I don't like how arrogant and condescending he was and I never got over it. That said, I was willing to give this a chance. Except seeing inside Dean's head never made me like him any more and I found him to be as childish and immature as I'd perceived him to be in the first book.
And Norah... please, if she'd mentioned her sweat one more time I was going to scream. If your sweating is that big an issue, maybe you should see a doctor. It was distracting. Ugh.
Sorry. I love you Amy but this wasn't the book for me.

THE REVIEW FOR THE BOOK TAKE A NUMBER BY AMY DAWS

GENRE ROMANTIC COMEDY.
AUTHOR: AMY DAWS.
TYPE: BOOK #4 OF WAIT FOR ME SERIES...CAN BE READ AS A STANDALONE.
POV:DUAL POV..
MY RATING: 5 ++++++ STARS.

This book deserves all the stars...All the books in this series is favorite...You cant choose your fav because all of them are so unique in their own way.
Dean is a Silent Inventor in Norah Wellknown Bakery. Being a businesswoman and owning her own bakeries and franchise is all Norah has ever thought of. On top of Business struggles, she has a Mother who keeps on adding pressure on her for marriage and Grandchildren. To stop her mother's endeavors in matchmaking her with their Friend's son Nate, she and Dean made a deal to fake date until Norah's mom and Dean's Friends leave their love life alone. But lines are crossed...and when fake becomes real...they had no idea.
this book was about a commitment-phobic playboy and a workaholic woman finding love in the last place they were looking for.

Norah and I can never be more than what we are right now. I’m not good enough for her to be more than a fake boyfriend. Not now… not ever.

Amy did it again...Never thought someone could top Dr. Dick from book #3One Moment Please but here we go..Amy flicked her wand...and that magic has created Dean..the cocky, confident, playboy who has the best sense of Humour...
We were first introduced to Dean Moser in the book Wait for me...and since then I was interested in this character...and when I got the news that he was getting his own book...I was at the top of the world.
There was indeed a lot of hype around this book but fear not, it has surpassed all of my expectations and maybe IT was more than I was expected... A perfection of a book.
Norah was the bakery owner who has the personality of "ALL WORK, NO PLAY"...and the transition of her character when she meets Dean was wonderfully expressed throughout the book.
The secondary characters were too wonderful in their own way...

“Because every day you give your heart to someone, there’s a chance you won’t get it back. But every time they give you their heart in return… it makes the risk totally worth the reward. We all take risks with love every day."

If you have read all the books in these series then you know Kate...she too has a Cameo here with Maggie and Lynsey... I hope to see more of them in the future...

My reaction throughout the book...

Except at the ending because that was sooo sweet like I cried reading that...rush of feelings...
and yeah that bonus epilogue was to die for...Thank you for that Amy..we totally needed to read that..for sure.

I can say this without any hesitation, that Amy Daws writes the best Romantic Comedy ever...even the description of the delicacies here are to the point...( I am seriously gonna try the recipe of Croinuts...I can't make it perfectly like Norah... Still gonna try.)

If you are a fan of Hallmark romance with comedy to the core then this book is perfect for you...I say give this series a try...You won't regret it...hell, you are going to laugh so much that you may get laugh lines on your face for sure...

I can't decide between 3 or 4 stars but let me say 3.9 it is.

They're both in the 30s. Dean has commitments issue due to his upbringing with his parents who are divorced. Norah is a successful baker who Dean invested in her business and is hoping to open a franchise. Dean was understanding when it came to Norah and her dedication to have a successful business career, how much more perfect can he be. They did fake relationship to appease his friends and her parents. Of course, she fell in love with him before he realized he had too but he did some groveling. Keyword: some.

5 CRONUT CROWNS

Take a Number is one of my absolute favorite standalones from this series. It was charming, steamy, and completely entertaining from cover to cover.

Nora and Dean are perfect together. And while the fake relationship trope allows the reader to know the basic plot line, the chemistry and banter between these two made it fresh and fun.

The audiobook was truly perfect. When the climax came, I found myself talking to the characters, engaging in the storyline. To me, this is the sign of a great audiobook and story.

Light, fun, engaging, and steamy, Take a Number is the perfect escape.

Overall I enjoyed the book, but it felt like any other fake dating trope.

I hate saying that because I usually love Amy’s books to the enth degree.

I did love Norah she was so strong and knew what she wanted. She might have faulted in the end goal but she never wavered on who she is. I liked that about her.

Dean is a good dude but I guess I didn’t like that he uses his relationship with his mother for why he choose to do what he did.

Great narration!

I literally just finished this and can say with absolute certainty that this is my favorite book in the series!!! Dean and Norah are absolutely EVERYTHING!! They have such a unique connection right off the bat, and you can tell just how much they adore one another.

These two are strictly non relationship: Dean doesn't want to repeat his parents marriage, nor does be ever want to turn into his father and hurt the woman he supposedly loves over and over again. So he puts on this man-whore facade and acts like nothing really bothers him.. until Norah. Our girl is so focused on building her bakery empire, that she has no need or want to date. She thinks of herself as too awkward, and though she can be at times (But aren't we all) she doesn't realize just how beautiful and amazing she is. She wants to break free of her mother's idealization that women can't be a business owner just like a man, nor does she want to give all she has up for a husband and kids. (#bossbitchstatus) however, Dean makes her feel free, and she begins to open her eyes to all the possibilities of love she never thought she would have...But will this fake relationship ever turn real for the both of them?

As much as I wanted to strangle Dean sometimes, or the very least duct tape his mouth shut to stop his idiocy from running everything, I couldn't help but love him. He's such an emotional guy, even if he would fight you tooth and nail to dispute that. My heart just hurt for the little boy in him who never saw what a healthy relationship was like.

And I truly loved Norah! She was such a badass, and so freaking hilarious!! She constantly surprised herself, and truly discovered who she was always meant to be. I loved how even though she was reserved and made all the lists in the world, she just let herself *be* in the presence of Dean's love.

I couldn't love this book enough!!! I'm not ready for this series to be over.😭😭😭 Here's to hoping we'll get Max's book one day soon!!

ARC received from author for an honest review.

From the minute I met Dean Moser in Wait With Me, I have been impatient for his story.

And Ms Daws has not disappointed me with Take A Number.

I seriously loved this book. It is the next day, and I am still smiling about it.

Norah, from her pros and cons list, to the flirtatious Dean, this pair could not be more perfect for each other.  The way they  tease each other, the UST between them, it just made me need them together even more.  They bring out the best in each other, even if they don't really realise they are doing it.

They shouldn't work, but they sure do - even when at times I wanted to bring out my inner Kate and croinut punch Dean. Oy, he really did deserve it I tell you!

The trademark Daws humour shines through (especially when Lynsey and Kate are involved) however I also felt a lot of emotions, and may have shed a couple of tears as I was reading.

From overbearing, matchmaking parents and best friends who think they know what is best, Dean and Norah make their way through the world of fake dating, to maybe, just maybe, find something real

Swoony and sexy and hot and lovely, Take A Number is just wondeful fun  and it made me crave cake the whole time I was reading. You won't need to take a number when this book hits the shelves, just buy a copy and indulge yourself.

Norah and Dean are the biggest flirts you will find! In, Take a Number, they find themselves in need of significant others to shutdown family and friends from matchmaking. With this fake dating story, true feelings and preconceived independence is changed through a few fake dates.

I don’t know what it is about fake relationships, especially when needed for tricking crazy mothers, but they are my jam. I love them. And I loved this one. Dean and Norah are using each other. They both need dates for events and come up with an even better plan. Fake dating. What could go wrong? This was cute and so steamy. I swear this author writes some HOT scenes. And it was also emotional. We got Dean’s tragic past and his was extra bad because it was still manipulating and attacking him. This poor man. I loved Norah so much. These two just clicked and I loved reading their story. I also really enjoy how this author works out all lose ends. Every bad ex or horrible person is taken care of. It’s so satisfying.

I was looking forward to Dean's book. It's weird to say that, but I didn't like him too much in the previous books. This was his chance to redeem himself. Dean and Norah are business partners in Norah's expanding bakery business. Norah and Dean are also good friends.

This is set in Boulder, CO. I really love sweet, smart and ambitious Norah & her tasty cronuts. How do I know they're tasty? How can they not be? Norah's cronuts are tremendously popular.
Dean is an investment whiz kid who works out regularly but can't resist Norah's coffee and cronuts. On a regular basis! Plus he's a major (silent) partner.
They each have a reason for staging a fake romantic relationship. Norah's match making mom will not take no for an answer. Dean needs a date for his friend's wedding (His friends are matchmaking too).

Norah has been too busy to date & Dean has been seeing different women and is relationship phobic.
I love their chemistry. They think they can stay friends while faking out their friends and family.
Dean is friends with Kate and Lynsey (the heroines from the two previous books). They crack me up when they call out Dean's bachelor ways. He's a sharp dresser and NO regular girlfriend.
This can be a standalone. Don't worry about prior books. If you like this one, I know that you'll like the others.
I did see Dean's reasons for not ever wanting a wife and kids. (His mom is hard to explain).
I just wish he would have worked through that now that he's an adult and on his own. Plus he and Norah are really great together.

I didn't like a part near the end but I think that Dean redeemed himself. Norah was great all the way through. She stuck to her dreams and ambition.
Great ending and epilogue. PS. Max next in this series? Rachael.?

📖📖 READ THROUGH KU. 📖📖

Firstly, I want to say that this book is a complete standalone. If you are only just discovering this author, or haven’t read the previous three books in the Wait For Me series that this one links back to, that’s ok, you will not feel lost at all and will follow this storyline without any hitches. Those of us that have experienced the bliss of those books will know that Dean has been around since book one. And everyone has been dying to know who he falls for, because he has been an amazing friend to the girls, stepping in when they needed it and would make a dreamy boyfriend. He had his life all sorted, except where his heart is concerned. He has a few demons there.

Norah is a smart business woman and a gifted baker. She has many quirks and loves to make a list, I think we could be twins! I loved her insecurities and how she blossomed once she let go and experienced all facets of living. When she strikes up another business deal with Dean, as he is a silent partner in her bakery empire, little did she know that the flirty investor would bring so much joy to her life. I loved their interactions and his nicknames for her. What I appreciate with this author is her ability to create characters with heart and sole and people you know you could hang with. They aren’t in a world that is so far removed from your own that’s it is unrealistic and too far fetched. I read for escapism and if I can’t see myself being amongst the characters then it can fall flat for me. But these guys I could be besties with. I’m hoping it’s not the last we see from this group and dare I hope that Max will get his own book, and a certain nanny might be his HEA? Fingers crossed on that one.

Norah is a career-driven woman, owning her own bakery called Rise and Shine and she’s about to open a second location in Denver. Dean is a silent investor in her second location and he too is focused on his career in finance. Norah‘s mom has been on her back for years since she chose her career over the traditional marriage & kids life her mom pictured for her. Dean’s 2 best friends, Kate and Lynsey, are worried about his recent dating choices. So to get everyone off their backs, Norah and Dean decide to do a friendly favor for one another and enter into a fake-relationship agreement.

Even though Dean and Norah said they’d remain friends and nothing would change between them, their fake relationship isn’t looking so fake after all. And the chemistry between them is through the roof. For two people not looking to settle down, they surprise themselves when real feelings develop unexpectedly.

Take a Number by Amy Daws is book 4 in her Wait With Me series. After reading the previous 3 books, I was waiting for Dean’s story. I wasn’t so sure of his character—he frankly seemed like a cocky, self-involved jerk—but I was interested to see how Amy would turn him around for me. And she did just that; I fell in love with Dean in this story. He was the perfect pair for uptight Norah, who is lovable in her own ways too. This had plenty of humor and steam to it, like most of Amy’s books, but lots of heart too. 4.5/5 stars.

“Norah…do you do drugs?” Her eyes widen. “No.” “You should start,” I reply and load the dishes, ignoring her tiny murmurs of displeasure. I start the dishwasher so she can’t go back and redo what I’ve done. “Now, let’s go over these rules of yours before you have a nervous breakdown over the fact that I barely rinsed the plates before I loaded them.”😂😂😂

**Fake Relationship
**Friends to lovers
**Easy jealousy
**Strong female role focused on career

Amy Daws delivered another five star read for me and I expect nothing less as I have loved every one of her books. We first meet Dean Moser, a stock market savant, in Wait With Me, and I couldn’t wait for his story. I knew there was so much more to him than his fashionable good looks and sexy swagger, and I couldn’t love him more.

Take A Number is a total standalone, but interconnected characters such as his best friends, Kate and Lynsey, appear along with their significant others, Miles and Josh, just to name a few.

What I love about this book is the plethora of very real emotions I feel when reading it. People aren’t perfect and Amy excels at telling the backstory, all the details that make you understand where they are coming from and why they are the way they are. I feel we are all a product of our upbringing somehow, and I like that their parents are all alive and also part of the story. His parents’ toxic relationship plays heavily on his heart and in his head, and is why he was a cocky player and never considered himself worthy of love.

For years, he has been coming to Rise & Shine Bakery owned by our sweet, hardworking heroine, Norah Donahue. She’s a gifted pastry chef, a perfectionist, and dedicated to the success of her business which leaves no time for a personal life. Actions speak louder that words, and Dean is undoubtedly a man who is smitten. A regular in her bakery, he’s flirtatious, charming, and the primary investor in her second business location in Denver, and never dreamed of mixing business with pleasure. That is until they agree to fake date to help get her medaling mother and his friends off their backs.

Well you can guess what happens next, because their chemistry is HOT and there is no denying these two were meant to be as they spend more and more time with each other. I love the writing style of Amy Daws as she blends humor into every chapter and everyday situations. You feel as if you are there whether it’s waiting in line for a croinut (her top selling pastry), strolling the streets of Paris, or listening to classic 80s music.

I loved the setting in their beautiful hometown of Boulder, Colorado, how their friends helped them realize what is most important, and how they could forgive each other and learn from their mistakes. Our Norah has a backbone and I so admired how she handled her feelings and knew her self-worth. I loved their banter, sexy times, and when they let themselves be vulnerable and shared their hopes and fears.

I also wanted to add I loved the cover photo...people may not notice but the cover model, aka our sexy Dean, has little preppy anchors on his shirt and it’s just how I picture him. Again, Amy gives each character personality and I can picture Norah in her unflattering baking smock too. I loved their banter and how they could tease each other, and how he loved her to pieces after he got his head out of his *ss. The bonus epilogue was everything I hoped for and much appreciated. Hoping Max, their friend and franchise developer, finds love next!

SO GOOD

I may have wanted to smack this hero silly on MULTIPLE occasions, but that didn't stop me from seriously enjoying this steamy rom com with heart. It's a mix of fun, angst, and smoking hot chemistry, with a couple you'll be rooting for. It's not long before this lovable playboy is in over his head, but the banter and connection make the journey worth it. This is for those rom com lovers who want a little weight behind the story - it's still a sexy, low angst read, but there's a hidden depth that takes over in the back half. Which, admittedly, makes it a bumpy ride to happily ever after, but an enjoyable one nonetheless.

The story follows "mountain manwhore," Dean, a guy whose own love life has taken a dive since his closest friends entered relationships. He's always been a shameless flirt and playboy, but it has reached new heights recently. There's one girl who might be a little bit under his skin, but Norah has waved off Dean's flirting every time, so nothing has come of it. But when both find themselves in need of a date others will take seriously, they strike up a bargain. Neither one has any interest in a relationship, so it seems like the perfect deal... until things start to feel just a little too natural.

It's been awhile since I've read anything by this author and I had absolutely no problem jumping right into the series. There's definite history between some of these characters, but it's all spelled out in the story. I'm not sure if my opinion of Dean would've been different if I'd read the previous books, but I pretty much wanted to either kiss or shake him throughout the story - in equal measure. Dean is adorably sexy, a sort of nerdy, unique hero that you'll fall for right away. I loved his vulnerable side and every scene that broke down his walls a little further. But, oh yeah, there are definitely WALLS around his heart. The first half of this is pure rom com perfection, focusing on the banter and the crazy chemistry, while the back half looks deeper into the hangups these two have. It was just a little too rocky for me, but the rest of the story is so solid that it didn't diminish that. I'm looking forward to more from the author because this was such a fun read.

NO SPOILERS!

Take A Number was romantic comedy GOLD and has honestly been the BEST, FUNNIEST, and SEXIEST book from Amy Daws to date! I absolutely LOVED Dean and Norah’s funny, sexy, and swoon-worthy fake-dating story, and was completely addicted and entertained from start to finish!

The storyline was fantastic and I loved the fake dating/fake relationship trope. The author did an amazing job with the entire concept, and I absolutely loved everything from beginning to end. I definitely laughed, smiled, and swooned my romance-loving heart out. The journey to happily ever after wasn’t always easy, and there were some hiccups along the way, but I was ecstatic with the conclusion to Dean and Norah’s story.

The characters were phenomenal. I adored Dean and Norah and their entire gang of friends and acquaintances. Dean and Norah were the best and they had wonderful personalities. They balanced and complimented each other extremely well, and I loved their smoking HOT chemistry together. Dean and Norah, despite some of their differences, were a perfect match and I loved watching their romance unfold.

Take A Number was romantic comedy PERFECTION and has hands down been the BEST, FUNNIEST, and SEXIEST novel Amy Daws has written so far! Dean and Norah’s sexy, hilarious, and swoon-worthy fake-dating story was a MUST READ for sure and I can’t wait to devour more from this author in the future!

From the start of this series Dean has been quite the side character and in Take a Number we finally get his full story!

Dean has always seemed well put together. He dresses well, makes lots of money and gets around with the ladies. With all his friends settling down it puts the pressure on him as a single guy to do so as well. With fears and secrets of his own this is not something he wants. Enter Norah; she is all about building her bakery enterprise and has zero time for love. She is so driven it seems she has forgotten how to have fun as well. These two devise a plan to fool them all with their fake relationship but rules were meant to be broken right?

Amy Daws pulled off another hysterical rom com with this book. Dean was everything I wanted him to be and more. Norah was the perfect woman for him and I loved every fake moment they had together. From learning a new meaning to having gnomes in my front yard to being sure to wear butt pads when mountain biking there was never a dull moment in this story. It was a wonderful easy read and I loved it. Dare I hope that maybe Max will be next?!

I only read one book from the series but I can't recall Dean. A good bakery story set book and fake romance is always good. Dean sounds like a charmer, flirt and business savvy from what I see here. He's a an investor in the bakery which made this complicated.

The fake romance unexpectedly had sizzling chemistry. Relationship wise Dean is a commitment phobe and Norah holds tight. But I did like them sweet, sexy and funny. I enjoyed their banter for all their difference. They're both workaholic in a way too so that worked out.

I like the trio of Dean, Kate and Lynsey they make you want to be friends with them. The writing os easygoing and engaging as always.

Honestly the whole croinut vs cronut thing peeved me a bit though it was a small part of the story. It's the same except method wise and easier to make. I get it though easier to make equals quantity and sellability. But overall enjoyed it.
